The Diner

Service was fast food was delicious love this place for breakfast. Wife got spinach pie and I got the breakfast Pipeline with over easy eggs atop a mix of hash browns sausage cheese bacon. Next I got chipped beef gravy breakfast with scrapple. The scrapple was excellent. Good place to try it if you've never had it. I did not like the chipped beef gravy, it was home cut lunch meats I think and the gravy was just okay. Like a diner they have butter at the table which is good so that it's soft when you need it. Recommend you put the eggs right on top.

Awesome breakfast! I called ahead and spoke with Theresa and she informed me that it was approximately a 15 minute wait and it is first come first serve…no reservations. I told Theresa that our group of 5 were staying at the Courtyard by Marriott at McHenry Row. Theresa gave excellent directions to the restaurant and we arrived and checked in. Incredibly our group of 5 was seated in less than 15 minutes. That’s when Jaimie took over and provided us with excellent service. We all had great breakfasts that were served up quick and hot just the way I like breakfast…but who doesn’t! I definitely recommend Southside Diner. They have incredible staff and provide an excellent meal that is reasonably priced. I had the crab omelette with house potatoes and it was delicious!

Wow, just wow. With the diners and the take out orders, this place is hopping. We were seated quickly and the food came out fast. My wife enjoyed the bagel and lox so much I swear she was licking the plate.. Our little one really enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes. I couldn't pass up a crab cake even though it was breakfast time. My expectations were greatly exceeded.
