Tashes Ankh American Caribbean

They used to be on Liberty Rd 21244. Now they are located further up Liberty Rd 21133. The Meals I have previously tasted are very good overall. I love the Peas & Rice. You can actually eat it by itself. Yummy! Orderd the Chickens & Oxtails. Both spicy or smothered are both equally good. Never tried the Curry Goat as yet. But I will sometime soon. Lines can get very long. So, it's best to order ahead of time if possible. Then stop in and pick it up. So compared to NY Jamaican Food, its good but not as Great! No complaints just a little different compared to what I get when I'm home.

Customer service has always been horrible but the food is amazing If it wasn’t for the food i wouldn’t ever return even the last location. The females they have at the counter are always very rude and stand-offish and it’s been that way for years they are never friendly towards females This last visits finally made me write a review, i nicely place my phone order she is very dry and rude i go to pick up and greet her she says nothing! She grabs the food places it behind the tip box where i can’t see and after i pay points over to it! Mind you there is no one else in the store that she couldn’t hand me my food

Let me set the record straight. A few people talking about attitudes on here never dealt with carribean folk. They are serious about their job that’s why the Tashes food is the best on the planet 🌏 Go up the street to you know who and get that terrible so called carribean food and you will be running right to perfection. 🤣 I Love Tashes They spoil you with amazing food with large portions. Nobody compares to Tashes food and that’s facts 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 🇯🇲

have had this place saved for some times based off an Instagram suggestion. Gladly i was quite impressed, from the staff who were all friendly and accommodating, to the facilities which were all freshly updated and clean. got the stuffed red snapper with shrimp and they told me it was worth the wait.....well a wait it was and took almost and hour to complete...but whatever they do to that fish in that hour is nothing sort of magical. truly enjoyed every bite and once the fish and stuffing was mixed into the rice it got even better. anyway, nice job Tashes. my meal was outstanding and I would absolutely visit again:-)

Tarses Ankh has moved to a new location! The new location is 8625 Liberty Road. This is on the same side of the street it was on, but a 1/4 mile west of Old Court Road. The SIT-DOWN restaurant is directly across the street from the KFC restaurant. It's the same food, but no longer carryout restaurant! We 'ate in' at the new location. Most of the business we saw was carryout. My bride and I had the Curried Goat and the portions were the same! And it tasted the same too! The restaurant moved in January and it is very clean with very nice and clean restrooms as well.
