Yummy options for an eclectic pallette. I'd ask for their bean burgers and crab cake without the bun and an extra side of their sauce. The options are flavorful and unique to the venue. Great spot for a quick lunch or dinner fix.

Had a delicious crab cake wrap. Simply delicious. The hibiscus tea and mint teas are so good. Wasn't much a fan of the cornbread, maybe bc i like my cornbread heated in an oven. I thought the $5 price tag was a bit much also. The service is great every time i have visited and the food matches the service!

My time going to Big Bean Theory...first I was welcomed so warmly which, I’ve found, in Baltimore is unusual. I ordered vegan crab cake on a salad. I expected that I would get a cake on some iceberg and we’d call it a day. I ordered the cake because when the lady described it, the ingredients seemed so unusual. I was intrigued. If I took a bite and threw it away because it tasted so bad it wouldn’t be the first time. The lady asked give her 5 minutes, but by the time it was ready it seemed like 10 minutes. When I got back to my desk and opened the package, I immediately wanted to return and give her a tip. Presentation was off the chain. An absolutely beautiful salad with non-traditional items including sliced beets, cucumbers, carrots, onions and cherry tomatoes. The crab cake was in the center with a sprig of rosemary sticking out (who would have thunk it?). I tasted the crab cake and had to look a little closer because it tasted as though there was fish in it. It even looked like there was fish in it.I thought she can gotten my plate mixed up with a non-vegan order. But then I remembered one of the ingredients was seaweed. The salad the cake were absolutely delicious. There is no way to eat the entire thing, so now I will feast again at dinner. This meal was made with love!

This place is the star of Mount Vernon marketplace. The food is always amazing and the staff is super friendly. They now have happy hour deals and daily specials. It's also convenient to get food to go. And be sure to get whatever tea they have on stock that day. They're all good.

Amazing food. I love all of the soups. My kids ask for them as a side to a meal or as a great after school snack when the weather is cold.
