I ordered the egusi soup and pounded yam through grubhub for takeout. The smell alone let me know it was going to be good. The serving amount was perfect, and the food was very flavorful.

First time eating African food, can't pronounce what I had other than fufu! Absolutely delicious, and the staff are warm,informative and inviting! This place is a must visit!

Not what i expected but overall an ok place to party if you like todays "hip hop" music. No african music what so ever...i assumed because its an african restaurant they would play afro-carribean mix. I stayed maybe 45 mins and ran for the door. I dont care for the new hip hop, trap music so it wasnt my cup if tea, but everyone has their preference.

The food here is so good. I always get egusi, cow skin and okra. They never disappoint. My only complaint is you have to catch them. They are not open most of the time.

Services need improvement big time. Food is very good but I wish they could make that place more lively. It's a great place to be..regardless. I just want them to upgrade their ideas and make this place worthy to have a classy date night in

This was my first time in the restaurant and it was for a mother’s day fashion show . It was a nice location. When you walk in its the restaurant and in the back they have a bar. The drinks was strong and ran around $8 dollar which wasn’t bad. I didn’t use public transportation but I saw a bus do come to the area. Its in a shopping center so plenty of free parking.

Nice lady... very helpful in explaining food items and how to order. Portion sizes have gotten smaller since I was last there years ago. Nice dining area. Fountain drinks would be nice. Only bottles and cans are sold. Will still frequent and reccomend.

When it comes to going to a restaurant (especially days that I am extremely hungry), I really value time. The guy told me the food will be ready in 10mints , and yes it was ready at exactly the supposed time... Talking about the taste of the food, I completely enjoyed it. I ordered Beans and fried plantains with kidney and my husband ordered Yam porridge and fried fish. It was absolutely phenomenal... I don't get to write reviews but I couldn't let go of this service. I extremely recommend ...
Oh yeah, plus the oldies music. I felt home again after moving from MD to Upstate NY.
