Old fashioned breakfast/lunch in the shopping street. I hope they could update the manual with more veggies and put some decoration through the shop.

A hole-in-the-wall kind of breakfasr diner that has the most friendly employees. You can have an omelet with a coffee for less than $11.

Hot made to order breakfast, generous serving, unbeatable price.
Ordered the Avenue or an omelette with bacon, sausage, ham and cheese with grits, toast and a coffee all for $11.34...our go to breakfast spot located in Hampden. Feels like the place where everybody knows your name!

Order made to perfection...I wish he would just do renovation to his place so that more people could enjoy his food and things looked a lil more cleaner. But other than that food is amazing Tiffany the host is amazing. Very much an at home treat atmosphere for those of us can't cook or don't feel like it but want that cook at taste. 10 thumbs 👍🏾

First off, best homefries around. Deal woth it. Second... this isn't gonna be everyone's vibe, but I love this place. There is no pretense here. A bar, a grill, and some tables. I'm so relieved that they weathered the Covid storm and haven't changed a bit. It's not some "preserved" piece of the past, but proof that not everything needs to be an a bougie fusion restaurant and art gallery to survive. Just be simple, affordable, tasty, and above all, be consistent, and people will keep coming home.
Yeah, you might have to listen to an old white dude at the bar give a well-intentioned-but-misled rant about "woke" culture now and then, but you'll also usually find you're not the only one rolling your eyes, either. It's honestly refreshing to have some place in my life that's not just a carbon copy of my usual political "bubble." Everyone feels welcome at The Lunchbox and that's beautiful.
I feel like place is a critical but often overlooked part of the soul of Hampden. I hope it never changes

Tasty food. A no frills diner.. It is nice to see people from all walks holding casual conversation. The attire is extremely casual.
