I was very excited to try Cask & Grain from all the reviews, but I was left unimpressed and disappointed. Staff was wonderful, but the food was underwhelming. I ordered the creekstone farms ranch steak which was good, but nothing spectacular. My finance's sister and mother ordered the wagon wheel ranch pork collar which was extremely sweet and not very flavorful. It was just odd, especially since they had ordered the mussel soup which was also strangely sweet. The seared duck breast was good, but the new bedford scallops was the best dish of the night hands down. My favorite aspects of the meal was the assorted cheese plate and the dessert. The dessert was absolutely amazing and I'm not a sweets kind of guy. But unfortunately, the majority of the meal was disappointing especially for the price. If you're in the area, I'd recommend Alma as a better alternative. Edited: Peer pressured by my future family to change to a 4⭐️ because they liked it.

Exceeded my expectations! I had a good feeling about this place given that it is 'farm to table' but the dishes were exceptional and they don't use any bad hydrogenated oils which are so toxic. Will definitely come again! Highly recommended.

Came here with a party of six for a nice Sunday dinner. Had some drinks at the bar downstairs before dinner, which were prepared well. Dinner was superb, each couple split an appetizer. Some of the best oysters I've ever had. Not too many choices, but enough for everyone to find something they enjoyed. Priced moderately for the quality of food provided. Service was great, patient and knowledgeable. Dessert was a hard choice as all three options sounded amazing, but the chocolate tarte and blood orange flan were amazing.

Great atmosphere, the building is beautiful and decorated perfectly. Started out with a spectacular I PA and some grilled oysters that were mouth watering. Main course was bison steak and pork neck which both were amazing. Both my wife and I ate every single morsel of food. The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable which rounded out our perfect date night.

Upscale variants on many favorite dishes are the name of this location's game. Frankly, upon seeing the menu pricing, my party was a bit skeptical...particularly, for the Canton area. Their execution, however, spoke for itself. Every dish came out perfect, both in presentation and taste. The service was equally good, and paid good attention to the table. My only complaint, is that their rotating beer menu changed drastically right after they printed it, and about only half of the beers on the list actually existed anymore. They also didn't do 1:1 trades for TYPES of beer lost (IPA for an IPA, stout for a stout, etc). Outside of this, the experience was very positive, and I look forward to going back!

An incredible place! Exquisite atmosphere and staff. Our meals were beyond even the menu's description. Every detail of this place is done right. A perfect date night, brunch morning, or grab a drink at the bar kind of place.

Excellent beer and cocktail menu, with some great food. Enjoyed both the short ribs and the pork shoulder, full of flavor and well seasoned. Service was efficient and non obtrusive, higher end food for Canton at a very reasonable value.

Incredible quality, presentation, and service! Local, sustainable food expertly prepared. I had the Pork Collar served with grits and roasted Brussels sprouts. Others in my party had the beef short ribs and Rockfish and raved about them both. Meats are cooked sous vide. Best pork I've ever had! I'll be back!

"Delishamazing!" Scallops, Rockfish, and Arugula squash salad....all fantastic. My daughter asked to add chicken to the salad and was cheerfully accommodated. So glad we stopped in! Service was excellent. Highly recommended! We will be back!

I had a wonderful experience at Cask & Grain. Service, ambience, and, most importantly, the food could not have been better. So happy to have found a great farm to table restaurant in Baltimore!
