This was a terrific spot for breakfast. It's located on a side street, almost with the vibes of an alley, so sitting outside was wonderfully quiet and laid back. Service was attentive - making sure to get all the details right, and even though it's an order-at-the-counter establishment, they happily delivered straggler items to our table outside.
Since I was visiting from the west coast, where decent bagels are few and far between, my everything bagel breakfast sandwich was the highlight for me. The eggs were both fluffy, and sturdy enough to hold together when eating.
I had time, while my coffee was brewing, to browse the vinyl selection of this café/record store. Combined with the 1970s era rock photos on the walls, this was far and away the most pleasant coffee shop I can recall visiting.
This coffee shop is tucked in a cute area of Baltimore, the location is great. The shop is comfortable, good seating and has outdoor seating too. I had their speciality lavender cardamom latte and the chocolate cardamom muffin - both were super yummy. Would love to come back and try more of their food and savory items. They also have a selection of vinyls which makes this place even more unique. Would definitely recommend.
This place was very vegan friendly and had delicious food. I got a vegan egg and cheese on an everything bagel with veggies. Also I got a Chai latte with oat milk. Their current latte special is a lavender cardamom latte and it is amazing.
Very good coffee and vegan brownie. Enjoyed very much and will be back for sure
Baby's on Fire is a welcoming coffee shop in the Mt Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore. They serve coffee drinks and a variety of food items that go well with coffee. The staff are genuine and very friendly. To top it off, they also have a nice selection of vinyl for sale. Their records span a number of genres and include both new and used items. A great place to find a moment of calm.
Baby’s on fire is a coffee shop and record store which gives it a great vibe as you go in. They have plenty of drink options and I greatly enjoyed my cardamom latte. Lots of seating inside and out but it does seem to be crowded on the weekends in my experience. I have not tried any of the food but when talking about a coffee shop coffee is number one to me!
Coffee and breakfast sandwich both slapped! Freshly made and delicious bagel. Can't ask for anything better before a train ride.
The layout is very clean and modern with an inviting yet slightly subtle music theme. Pastries are served from the front case until they run out, but there are more filling breakfast and lunch food items available all day. Service is usually quick and the staff are kind. I had the bacon egg and cheese breakfast wrap and it was a good size and very satisfying; my only critique would be that it didn’t appear to have any seasoning or spices and I think that a little bit would go a long way. I will still definitely come back for the food and coffee though!
Loved it, great little cafe with a very chill atmosphere. Friendly and patient staff. A large amount of vegan options which is always appreciated.
Really good pastries at this very dog- friendly coffee shop. All outdoor seating currently so bundle up or take it to go.
Blueberry Scone was crunchy on the outside, nice and crumbly on the inside. Also tried the knish. Wow. Very tasty.
My wife had the chocolate croissant. She said it was very good and notable for the amount of chocolate. Cannot confirm because she ate it all before I got a bite (though that seems to confirm that it was delicious).
Again, all seating is outdoors. There are blankets on the seats and plenty of drinks to keep you warm. Oh, and if you have a dog, the baristas will gladly give your good girl/boy a treat.
