I always order the same thing. 2 eggs over easy, turkey sausage and grits. So good, one of the few places I have found in baltimore that serves grits. Turkey sausage is the BOMB!!!

It's a bit of a Baltimore time capsule, in a good way. It's kept the same great staff forever. It's fast, good, and inexpensive food. Just don't expect that you'll be able to roll in with 4+ people and get a seat, because you just grab individual seats as they become available. Though people do make room when necessary.

Update: 9/29/23. 4 year's later, we're back! Still excellent! I had the exact same thing to eat, but now $10.95. 😞.Loved this place. We are from Ohio, staying with Baltimore family. They recommended it. 2 eggs, 3 sausage links and 4 French toast halves. $7.95. Not bad. Counter service, excellent.

The place has a great setup. If you're expecting classic diner food done well, that is here. They have a long counter only, so there isn't much wait for someone to notice you and take your order. They have a carryout window for folks on the go. I go here when I'm working in the area and love it.

This was my 1st time visiting and I truly enjoyed it. The food was very delicious and the server was attentive to our needs. I love the relaxed environment and the friendly conversations. This is a very small place and we did have to wait for seats to become available. It was very busy during this visit. There's only one cook but you also get to see him prepare the food depending on where you're sitting. I would go back again and recommend anyone to try it out, but again be prepared to wait because this is a very small place.

My breakfast experience exceeded my expectations. Our meal were delicious. I had a Veggie Omelet and my guest had the French Toast...complements to the Chef! Kathy was polite, kept our beverages topped off and did not rush us out after settling the bill. Ray...your wonderful and welcoming hometown friendly Grille, is 5 star indeed! Below is midway...ate every morsel!
Update: Yesterday June 8th- Customer Service at the Window was horrible. Katie the window Clerk was rude and in patient with customers. She needs to be replaced!

Nothing was particularly seasoned or flavorful, but the waitress exhibited excellent customer service—I would return for that reason. The food alone is 3 stars, but the quick and attentive service bumps the rating to 4. This place reminded me of Waffle House with the bar style seating, but there are no table tops here.
