bar Liquorice is a really fun time. The owner had decorated the place like it was my own home and there are just these really fun, funky things about it.
The popcorn is pretty great as well. Would definitely come again!
Such a delightful bar. The owner is so warm and inviting. He has given me free dessert a few times. The popcorn they serve for free is a bonus. All of the food and drinks are superb. The bartenders are also fantastic. The decor is awesome too, there is a back room with a couple couches and a coffee table. Along with some nice chairs to sit in. I can’t recommend this place enough. Other people I’ve sent there have also loved it.

I rarely write reviews, but after going to bar liquorice for the first time I feel like I should. This is a great bar in and of itself, but the way the owner cared for everyone in this bar like we were all at at his house made it extra special. Great place to go if you want a lovely cocktail in a cosy setting. The complimentary popcorn is also bomb.
I was visiting Baltimore for the first time and ended up here because a neighboring bar was closed. I think it was the happiest accident of my trip. This place is great, the back looks like someone's nice living room. The drinks are really good and the owner makes really good popcorn he gives away for free. The owner was also very entertaining and kind the whole time we were there. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants unique drinks at at unique bar.
Easily one of my favorite, if not my favorite, neighborhood bars. Jeff (the owner) is the nicest guy you'll ever meet and the staff is great as well. The complimentary popcorn and sweets are great, it's the little touches that really set this place apart. The whole bar is so cozy and the decor is one of a kind. The cocktails are great and there's always a good beer selection. I haven't tried much of the food in my trips here, but the chocolate bread pudding is to die for. I'd you haven't been here, you're missing out on a gem.
Amazing local bar. The owner Jeff is very friendly and will hook you up with delicious free rosemary garlic popcorn and a taste of his signature nutella bread pudding. They have a small menu but they do every thing very well. Cool atmosphere/vibe will keep you coming back
What a fun and funky spot!
When I was planning my trip to Baltimore I created a foodie wish list and this bar was at the top. It certainly lived up to its reputation!
My husband and I stopped by for some cocktails around 7 and found spots at the bar. Before we could even order they brought over popcorn - what a lovely greeting! The bartenders were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I had two gin cocktails that were amazing! My husband had two whiskey cocktails that he really enjoyed.
We had a great time munching on free candy and watching the Cooking Channel. If you want a more relaxed vibe then the back lounge is the spot for you. There are a couple couches and a fire place.
The owner was amazing - he talks to all of the patrons and handed out free candy! He also surprised us with free Nutella Bread-pudding. It was a lovely send off.
When we come back to Baltimore this will be a definite spot we visit!
Love this place! Warm, friendly and owner, staff and that also includes the patrons. Bread pudding is a must. Arrive hungry! The food is so good you won't want to leave with any empty spaces!
