Have tried their fish sandwich and fries and their regular cone. Always enjoyed their food. Reasonable prices. Good deals from time to time. Fast service. Nice staff. Have mostly gotten food on the go. Usually very busy drive thru. All in all, a nice option for comfort food. Highly recommend this place.

I usually go to this location a couple times a year, but one experience during the summer this year was particularly eventful. I spent close to an hour as the second person on line at around 10:30pm Ahead of me was a woman with about 7 kids who was ordering about 4 or 5 items per child and was asking for all of them with some kind of personalized order (For Example, 2 burgers but one without ketchup and the other without pickles but keep the ketchup on, etc) I just wanted those extra large size fries. I could have easily just gotten in my car to use the drive thru instead, but I was so enthralled by the complexity of the order that I needed to see how long her order was going to go on for. So she finished her order, waited about twenty minutes for everything while complaining about how long her order was taking around five minutes into her wait. The order was so massive that I was told to wait and the drive thru was put on hold so they can rush this woman‘s order and get her out of the restaurant. This woman even went as far as to bang on the pick up order window a few times to ask when everything was ready and what’s taking so long. At this point I’m shocked and disgusted at her behavior. I wanted to say something, but the longer I waited the more her demeanor said “I will fight anyone who gets in my way” so I wisely did nothing. So all of her order came, she called in a couple of the kids waiting in the minivan outside to carry all the bags. They leave the store and get in the car The drive thru was moving again, the cashier could successfully manage two counters at once and all was peaceful again in the world of Checker’s fast food. I went to the window when the employees inside got themselves together. They apologized for the wait, and I sympathized with the cashier for having to deal with what her and the entire staff just went through. So I just ask for my fries, and I was told it’d be a little wait because they have to make more fries because they got cleared out by one family. I said it was cool. In the meantime, the woman with many kids was back. And she was almost stomping back into the store she was so mad. With one bag in her hand, she stormed through the door screaming that something wasn’t right with her order. Not surprisingly, a handful of the many sandwiches that she had ordered with special instructions had been made wrong. The most outrageous thing was that she was demanding a full refund of her entire order. Some arguing later and the staff remade the wrong sandwiches, but basically handed them back to her and said “get out” It was probably the most entertaining thing I’ve ever witnessed at a fast food restaurant
