The staff in this store is top-notch! Very friendly and outgoing, not to mention willing to go the extra step in helping me find what i needed. I should've looked for name tags, but the gentleman in the music department as well as the two ladies in the Kids' Dept./Toys/Info Desk area were awesome. I ended up placing a special order for a CD (free delivery to my house) and two new Patrick McDonnell books, with the double discount for members! I love to see a smiling staff promoting "classic films 50% off", "$2.00 off in the Cafe today", "B-Fest happening this weekend." Engaged booksellers are among my favorite people on this planet!!
I've always had a great experience when I go to B&N, but yesterday it improved even more! The Bakersfield store allowed Traveling Tales: The Addison Rose Read To Me Library to wrap gifts purchased in their store for donations. The staff was pleassant, accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable...and so much more! I can't thank them enough! 💜
First time at this location. Staff was very nice. They helped me order a book they didn't have in stock. I saw they had a bunch of great cook books, that was probably my favorite section.
My first time going there! Barnes & Nobles literally my second home now. Very welcoming feeling inside and organized! I love how the book store inside looks and I found all the books I wanted in the store! Definitely want to visit more often 🥰
Barnes and noble is an amazing step up from a library! The staff are unbelievably amazing at every location I've ever been to. If they don't have what you're looking for in their store they'll look it up and order it right inside their store for you with the option to have it sent to the store or your own home! It's pretty amazing!

Very clean and well organized. I really enjoyed going here. Normally I just read books on my phone but it's really nice to go to a bookstore in Peru's just like the old days. It's almost like a cultural kind of thing in this place does a really good job of facilitating that.
Awesome selection, some of the nonfiction books are a little outdated but they have more than the library when i was looking for programming books. Pretty spacious in some areas. I go to look at the Manga. The kid section is loaded with cool stuff. The employees are nice and helpful. You usually get a coupon for the starbucks IN the store. So if you want to sit and read a book with some coffee, its a nice place

I’m love this book store so much. My teachers discount card had expired and I didn’t have a current ID with my school because of covid and everything not operating as usual. They honored my card regardless of that which was great. An excellent selection of books as well. My son found a war hammer book to read and I found a couple books I have been wanting to read. We left happy.
I love taking my children in to Barnes and Noble to pick out one or two books! They always have a blast looking at all the books and finding the right one to give a home. Books can be expensive but you can keep it forever and. They have many different generes that appeal to everyone not just children,teens and adults and they have so much more come check them out!
