We stopped in for lunch, just looking for any sushi place really. Turned out to be one of the best sushi restaurants that we have been to in a very long time. Great tasting rolls and on the spot service. Anyone looking for a great meal should stop on in.
Everything about this place is awesome ! Love the atmosphere friendly staff and great Playlist! The food is always amazing ! Some of my favorites are the Garlic Edamame, Green Dragon, sashimi platter, the moon river and I highly suggest you try the flaming troy !!! Desserts are pretty awesome as well ! Love taking people here for a great sushi experience!
We had sushi night in here and it was a fantastic! The service are awesome, the owner came to our table, she's really good checking her customers... Aaaand the food are ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ» definetely is must try thier la Luna for appetizer, the smokiness of the salmon ''twas awesome.. we had unagi,spider, spicy tuna rolls, friedtufo,fried veges, beef teriyaki and salmon, the food portions are shareable! And you don't need a dessert afterwards because all you need is BAKE SALMON SUSHI, super delicious creamy, sweet and warm sushi!! And lastly I like my ORION BEER! π all in all best sushi restau we had so far! For the price were 5 We spent like $160 and I think it wasn't too bad.. we had so much food!!! Highly recommend!
Food was colorful and customer service was good. Food was ok. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated. The fried calamari was a large portion for the price. Other items we had purchased were a little bit more on the expensive side. Wasn't very packed the night that we chose to go there for dinner.

I love coming to eat here. The service is really good, friendly and positive people. I love the sushi here!! I can't stress it enough. And they have a large amount of options which is really nice. Get the plum wine with your sushi!
The sashimi is like butter- always very fresh and yummi- the beef salad- also great.
The manager Tammy is very personable and takes pride in the service and the presentation of the food.
Yes, Sushi Moon can be very busy- that's because on Friday and Saturday nights in Bakersfield, that's where people that love good Japanese and other Asian delights, know to go.
Perhaps if you have a slew of very hungry kids, go somewhere else. But consider returning when you want to have an enjoyable meal that is consistently fresh and delicious.

Wonderful fresh great service throughout the entire meal. Wait staff was extremely helpful in our selection of our food as well because I have very little experience with this type only cuisine. No wait on a Saturday night made it amazing as well would recommend to all my friends and family
Nice staff that offers a different experience to dining out in Bakersfield. Food is always great and after multiple visits there hasn't been any wait time nor issues. Be aware with pricier food comes a larger bill.
