Subway

Used to like going here but the quality of the food has gone down and it's gotten expensive. I can pay a total of $25 or less, at a regular sit down restaurant and it include good food, service, generous portions and our drinks, for two people, and for just the foot longs and two single serve bags of chips, pay just a couple of dollars less. Not going to go there again.

A great subway if you want to add 45 minutes onto your trip, potentially catch COVID, and eat a subpar sandwich. Let me paint a picture of our experience from last evening. Minute 0: My girlfriend and I walk in and get in line. There are 4 customers ahead of us. Only one is wearing a mask and the staff are all wearing their's improperly. The store has below average cleanliness. Minute 10: Line has not moved. Staff is still fulfilling first order. I patiently stare at my phone to pass time. Minute 15: First customer's order has finally been fulfilled. Staff starts on second order. They inform the customer they are out of several bread types and toppings. Minute 25 - Staff has finally gotten to the 3rd customer. At this point I'm debating leaving but I've already sunk a significant amount of time waiting. The staff is moving with a sloth-like slowness and are constantly stopping to gaze out the window. One of the staff members pauses while making a sandwich to mumble along with the song currently playing. They seem completely oblivious to the long line of customers. Minute 35 - Somehow the staff has only gotten to the 4th customer. They seem to have mastered the art of inefficient sandwich making. One is continuing to gaze out the window with a glazed eyes. Every topping request takes an excruciating amount of time for them to complete. Minute 40 - Finally our turn! We provide our orders(two sandwiches) and wait as they assemble our sandwich with mind-numbing slowness. When we ask for onions, the staff member reacts with annoyance as she discovers the tray is empty. She slowly refills it, taking an additional 2-3 minutes. At this point I really wanted to jump over the counter and make my own sandwich. We get to the cash register, and I put my card in. One of the staff members fidgets with a big pink bandage wrapped around her arm. This makes me lose my appetite. Minute 45 - We exit the subway and agree that we'll NEVER stop at this subway again. It takes me 1 hour to regain my appetite and finally eat my sandwich(which is average at best).
