Stopped in with my family after hunting for a Christmas tree
The waitress Jess was outstanding, Super sweet! The food itself was delicious and the cook was super friendly as he even came out and chatted with us before heading back. Felt like being at a family friend’s home ❤️
When you walk in, it feels like home and everyone is happy to see you! Chip, the owner is just the most friendly guy and truly visits each table (when he's there) to see how your dinning experience is going. You leave there, feeling you're family. The food is down to earth, cooked like home and so yummy! The best in our opinion is the 'Long Horn Burger'...smothered with green chili, onions and cheese~ a huge meal!
I’ve had burgers here before and they were good but the chopped sirloin steak has to be the most unique and beautifully crafted steak I’ve ever had. The way it falls apart so perfectly in your mouth it’s almost like it’s ground beef. Beautiful steak I couldn’t imagine if they put buns on the bottom and top. Cutthroat cafe more like cutthroat stakehouse!! Everyone get the sirloin chopped steak!
Great Cafe. They do it right, great prices, good portion and SUPER FRIENDLY staff. Moved to Bailey a few months ago, didn't realize they were open for dinner - glad we decided to stop and see. Will be back!!
Stopped in after our home inspection in the area :). This place has true home cookin! In fact, I was told that all their recipes are lovingly handed down from the owner’s mom! Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy was delicious. From scratch noodles in the chicken soup too! Awesome service. Friendly diner that feels like stepping back in time, where the food and the people are truly real.... definitely a gem. Can’t wait to try their breakfast next time.
Love how much of a family diner this place is! Always feel loved, welcomed, and cared for. Good service, and Chip the owner always checks in and asks how things are going.
Home away from home. Mom couldn't do any better. Best place between Canada and Mexico. I'll be back next week.....forgot how good it is and has been forever. If you stay away it will leave more for me. Never ever better!
