Found this gem on a family visit trip to NC. Wish we had one in Minnesota! Fantastic ice cream.

Great place to visit for all ages. Tours to pet the calves and see their moms being milked and resting are educational and fun. All Jersey milk ice cream is phenomenal, the best I've ever eaten and I have eaten ice cream all around the world. Their buttermilk is fantastic to make pastries and biscuits. Large covered areas for family gatherings, a brand new large playground and numerous activities. Handicap accessible.

It was very hot the day I went, nearly 100 degree with heat index. Nevertheless farm work is never finished, its a 24 hour day operation, 7 days a week. The farm tour was interesting. So much science involved in farming. The ice cream was so good, flavor tasted real and not sugar based. Creamy and serving sizes were generous. Definitely worth a return trip or find it locally

Simply Natural was determined by a USA Today article to be among the top 10 ice cream joints in the USA (2023). Perhaps it's because of the Jersey cows used to make their own dairy products. Perhaps it's the cow farm that separates itself from other places. Perhaps it's the ability to tour the farm. Maybe it's the great ice cream with an excellent assortment of flavors. Maybe aside, the word is out that this farm/creamery in the middle of nowhere, Greene County has something special. The number of patrons looking for something sweet says it all.
The grounds have a playground for kids (neat options like a bouncy area), buildings for parties or events, the creamery itself selling tasty stuff, and the cows and farm that can be toured. A baby shower was being held at one of the buildings on the date above.
We came for the ice cream. We sampled the warm cookie sundae, cake batter ice cream, and Cowie-O ice cream. All excellent. There are cone options, bowl/size options, toppings, and an exhaustive flavor display. They make their own stuff. Yes, it comes from Jersey cows on the farm. Yes, it is excellent ice cream. We found prices fair relative to other ice cream joints.
We did the farm tour, which is a covered wagon thing pulled by a tractor. This runs you $6 per person. This takes you through the farm detailing what each building is and does, food, history, and the cows themselves. You get to pet the calves, and they all seem receptive to human touch and attention. Neat tour and not something I would have thought would be interesting. Cool.
As per the aforementioned USA Today article, well, I don't know much about that. I do know that Simply Natural has a good product and everything that entails.

We had no idea this place was so close to our home. it was an awesome surprise. Such a yummy cool treat for these hot days! The whole experience while getting our shakes was so fun . There is so much to do and take in. We loved it and can’t wait to come back with our family .

Great ice cream at the creamery. Bunches of interesting flavors made with milk from their jersey cows. Seating inside and outside including rocking chairs and old fashioned checker games on the front porch. Small playground for the kids as well as access to a calf up front. For more details and access to the cows, take the tour to learn more about day to day operations.

Great spot out in the country for top notch dairy products including some of the best ice cream I have had in a long time! So many flavors, so hard to choose! Many activities available to keep the whole family happy! Went way out of our way to get there and more than worth the trip.

This ice cream is by far the best! Take the tour and pet the baby jersey cows, they are so sweet and ❤️ loving. Knowledgeable staff and very informative tour. Will be back!
