Bum's is the place Eastern bbq devotees go to eat a Big Sunday Dinner with all the trimmings. Its absolute heaven in here! Everything is on the best of level for NC Q every speck of food in there ya hear?! Bum's will make you cry its so good like Grady's, B's, Sam Jones, and The Skylight Inn. The real deal squeal !!!!!!!

Went to Bums for breakfast this morning. Food was good, waitress was very pleasant. We noticed after we got home that we had a "service charge " on our ticket. Why? For using our debit card? Is this a new practice? I guess we'll have to cut back on the tip. 3.99 %.

Had barbecue which was delicious, smoky and moist. Service was nice and friendly. It's a downeast barbecue house so the atmosphere is what you make it!

We had our 65th high School reunion. The perfect place as usual.

I was greeted with a smile. Saw an old high school associate and got to experience some real food. It’s the real food for me. They’re not using canned collards or store bought potato salad like many other “well known” restaurants are. They’re cleaning collards and peeling potatoes! It was seasoned well. I did add a packet of sugar to my potato salad though. The prices are reasonable and the chicken taste like my aunt Mattie (RIP) fried it so it was a win in my book!

One of my favorites! Go see Spanky in the mornings! Not only is it the BEST BBQ but a great family there as well! My dad was best friends with the owner. It means alot this place its a childhood favorite also!!! Love BUMS!!!

Good down home cooking with staff who are spot on. They are familiar with their customers and what we order and it's ready in a timely manner. These folks are family in our own little Mayberry!

Passed by today for good country helping of almost everything on the menu LOL was absolutely fantastic. First off I had no problem getting my son's wheelchair through the door. I found the prices to be quite fair and reasonable for the delicious food you are getting. I'm from Charleston originally and this is the best lima beans! I had the fried chicken in the ribs and a whole bunch of sides. I like that the soda was extra large also. I highly recommend this restaurant the food is absolutely delicious! Terrific customer service and wonderful ambience hometown at its finest!
