We have been twice in the past week. The food quality, taste, freshness are all awesome. The dogs have a crunch when you bite into it. The Chicago dog is great with a good quality pickle. The coney dogs are great! The chili is good and not too spicy. They have Faygo Root Beer, yum!!
They were extremely friendly and helpful on our first trip. And explained what everything was on the menu.
Warning, you do pay for good quality. There were three of us and we spent well over 30 bucks for lunch today. And almost 50 for 4 of us for dinner earlier this week.
Good place for great tasting old school chili dogs. Great tasting onion rings. Just don't make the same mistake I did and douse you hot dog with the Blown Engine Carolina Reaper hot sauce they have LOL. I thought I was brave lmao. I was burning for about 15 mins, but other than that everything was great tasting. Definitely coming back to try the Rueben.
Awesome place!! And the guy who owns it is one of a kind!! Being from Michigan it was awesome to get a koegel hotdog out here in Arizona, and the faygo! I haven't had that since I was a kid! The food is great but the hospitality is what really got is! From the second we walked in the door we were greated by such a friendly guy! We over heard the owner asking some police officers if everything was good, do they need water for the road, ect. What a great guy!! He then offered to clean up after is and led my daughter behind the counter where he gave her some treats (with our permission of course) if I could give this place 10 stars I would!! A must try!!!
I got the Coney island dog and chili cheese fries, it was delicious! The staff was very friendly, definitely a place I'd bring my friends and family. Dining room was very clean and has lots of cool things to look at while you eat.
Best authentic chili straight from Detroit. The customer service was beyond amazing, even from the owners that where there. They carry pop called Faygo made in Detroit that tastes better than any soda here in AZ. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean, inviting and great atmosphere. Family oriented as well.
Super yummy! Staff was very friendly. Prices were great. We def. Will be returning. Glad we saw the sign. We were searching for something to eat and this totally hit the spot!
Not bad...a no frills hot dog and burger place. Neat and clean. The Coney I had was very good and "authentic"....some may want more pizazz...but, its a good dog...and thats whats important. I will definatly go back.
It was just like being at a Coney island back in Detroit. The Better-Made chips, Faygo, and Motown music was perfect. Will definitely be going back
