Mandarin

As a take out Chinese place, Mandarin is our new favorite. It's not by any means the closest so it should tell you something that we are willing to drive the extra few miles down the road for really good food. The spring rolls are absolutely fantastic. Just the best I have had since coming to Ohio. The vegetables are always fresh. Cooked right. Good lo mein. Good beef & broccoli. It is a take out place. Not a nice eat in.

Nice people. In this new covid world we find other places closing early or closing down and no seems to care about service anymore. Mandarin stayed open AFTER close to take an order I called in minutes before close (yeah I was one of those people that night). Then while I was waiting at about 15 minutes after close and they were finishing up my food my dad called me and asked me to grab him some food. They happily added to my order. These people care about their customers and go over and above to make us happy. Refreshing to see a business like that now a days.

We ordered here frequently in the past. Not great but okay. Ordered tonight on Uber eats was over an hour late and missing half of our food literally. Called the manager before our order arrived because so late. She said someone would call. No one did. When I called no one answered. Called from my laptop from another number and someone finally answered after our food arrived missing a full meal and all appetizers. The restaurant blamed Uber and accepted no blame for the missing food said there was nothing they could do over and over and to call Uber even though Uber did nothing wrong. The restaurant forgot to give the other bag of food.
