Absolutely LOVE this place. Unpretentious, spectacular food, best beer menu I've seen in I don't know how long, wonderful service.
Sausages and beer and sour gherkin pickles and 13 HOUSE-MADE MUSTARDS!
Good selection of beers, food is decent, they nailed the Biergarten vibe. Live music on the weekends, open mic on Wednesday’s if that’s your thing.
Perfect after a day on the slopes! I got a Kölsch that was smooth with just a tinge of fruity flavor just like the menu promised. Pairing this with sausages and a pretzel was pure bliss. They also had a few TVs that had March Madness playing along with outdoor seating. And you can't forget the staff, the Friday crew went the extra mile to make our experience enjoyable and also recommended the Jalapeno elk sausage (yum). The vegetarian sausage wasn't bad either.
Amazing food and drinks. Got to love local! Elk sausages were so good and so were the prosit. Like others have already said, the pretzels is a must. Should have taken a picture sooner, but couldn’t resist.
Nice place to eat German comfort food after skiing. Delicious sausages and nice variety of german beer. It is a bit cozy and might fill up fast. Quick and courteous staff btw. We'd definitely go back!
Great selection of German 'biers' and some very tasty sausages to go with your biers. You definitely want to go with a Sausage Sampler plate to share. We liked the Prosit Oktoberfest beer brat the best, closely followed by the Kaise Krainer Cheese brat. Having been to Germany, we were disappointed in the Gurken (cucumber) salat and the German potato salat -- they could make those so much better to be more like the actual German versions. Overall, a fun beerfest atmosphere, to include the German fest tables and benches. Definitely recommend for some fun/relaxing apres ski. Enjoy.
This is a must try if you are around the area. The sausages were so good. I can't eat most meat but I found the Wildboar sausage which was so good. There were a variety of sausages and sauces to select from. Great service and we hope to drop in again before we head back.
Easily one of our favorite restaurants in Avon. We got the 4 sausage sample platter. The staff recommended which sausages to try and they nailed it. I was sceptical of the duck but was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious and probably my husband's favorite. My favorite was either the buffalo or the elk. None of them had a 'gamey' flavor. Nor were they filled with an overwhelming amount of spice to mask any gamey flavor. You can tell they use quality meat that offers a nice clean flavor. We highly recommend giving Ein Prosit a try!
Clean restaurant with great beer selection and good food. We had a 4-sausage platter (the pheasant sausage was a surprise favorite) with a pretzel, cheese, and potato salad. Had a few Marzen beers on draft too.
A cozy German bar that serves good beer and has good food. Several German beers on tap and a wide variety of bottled beer. We also had the Bavarian pretzel, the Guiness sausage, the prosit Reuben and the wild boar sausage. With their selection of mustards, these were fantastic. The boar sausage had apricot and cranberry and was a bit sweet for me but my wife loved it. I could sit watch a soccer or football game, eat and drink for hours
