Devine Scoops

Absolutely love this place! My husband found it a couple years ago and we have been hooked ever since! My salted caramel never last long enough for me to get a picture hence the empty bowl! My daughter's love the game room so they can play while eating their ice cream. I love all the unique fun flavors they have and the fact that they let you have samples is definitely a plus when you're trying something new! We are here about once a week in the summer. The owners are very friendly and wonderful people! They will even Order special flavors and let you know when they are in!

We stopped in here because we saw some good reviews online. We were greeted with a bogus sign on the door (see picture) claiming the Avon Lake Police only allows their customers to use the bathrooms? And you have to ask for a key? Come ON, you know that's not true. Anyway, the ice cream was OK, nothing special. The soft serve was kind of tasteless and watery. The portions were extremely small (a "medium" soft serve consisted of about 4 oz of ice cream!) and the prices were eye-watering. A medium soft serve and a small one-scoop ice cream was almost $7.00!! We went outside to eat on the bench they have set up, but we were quickly chased into our car, because the stench of rotting garbage from the garbage bins lining the back parking lot was so offensive. Once finished, we had to go back into the store and walk all the way to the back - because the only garbage can in the entire place is inside, at the very back! No outdoor garbage can!??! So all in all, a very disappointing visit. We won't be back. Ever.

Awesome mom and pop shop with two local owners. The service has always been great and I've never had a bad flavor of ice cream. Two words...Buckeye Blitz...try it, and make sure you get it in a freshly made chocolate dipped waffle cone. YUM! The last time I went in for ice cream I realized I forgot my wallet at home, but the girl behind the counter told me they have Apple Pay! Seriously? A local business with Apple Pay! Thank you Divine Scoops for everything you do.

I haven't eaten here, but don't think I ever will. I was next door doing laundry at the laundromat and my 12 year old son had to use the restroom. I asked if they minded if he used it and we were told that it was for customers only. Really?! Like there is such a high demand for your toilet that you need to turn away a child?
