Located right on Avila beach. I ordered their clam chowder and bread bowl and it was not bad though tasted like it needed a little more celery. Pretty much had to go to the bar area to order. It had decent ambience.
I haven't been here since the last time I recovered the pool table, which they no longer have, so however long ago that was. The wait at Custom House was too long and we just wanted an appetizer and drink before going back on the Bob Jones Trail.

Such cool vibe at the outside terrace. Very subtle music so you can keep conversation going without too much trouble. Food was good: moist fish, good salad, a lot of fries as a side.
Lovely place so do visit if you’re around.
Heard some music and had to go in real quick. Danced to the live band playing different genres, that was dope. Fun short time:) 💃
The food is always scrumptious and the service is friendly as always. Great view, and good value overall! If you're visiting Avila, be sure to stop here for a drink at least🥂

Love this little Beach town spot. Have a lot of history thru the years as Barbara's by the Sea. Music is playing, the sun is shining, and drinks are pouring. Makes you smile just to be there.

The fish and chips had huge chunks of white fish. So delicious. I had a shrimp and chips basket. I was worried it would be salty and overly breaded but they weren't! Perfectly fried and seasoned. Need more shrimps.

What a great find. I have not been in Avilla in years. Always a sleepy little town. I was surprised to find a great restaurant, great weather, and a lot of tourism.

I've been coming here for over 10 years. My 6 for lunch and drinks with friends. It can get very crowded and hot in the summer months, but you're in a beautiful beach! Love it
