This place brings a whole new meaning to fine dining. Everyone was very nice and on top of making sure your experience is fantastic. If you get there early you may get a seat next to the open window and see the view at dinner. The appetizer we ordered was the the artichoke fritters. It was so delicious. The clam chowder is always my favorite and it was good. My husband ordered the bone in rib eye medium rare with a bake potato. I ordered a rare rib eye with a bake potato. The steak melted in your mouth. My youngest son went for the bonanza and ordered the new york steak with lobster. He cleaned his plate. He loved his food and said it was the best he ever had. My oldest son had the fish and chips. He said the fish was super tender and good. The vibe was low key and elegant plus you can go in casual wear but we dressed up for the occasion.

Food was good - one of the more upscale places to eat on the island. Great views and nice ambiance. We did feel a bit rushed, but that would be my only complaint.

The rib eye is good with the mushroom and the onions. The asparagus is not. The lamb is ok.

Dining directly on the beach - the perfect experience to wind down a weekend in Catalina. Service was solid and the food was good. Enjoyed the coconut shrimp and caprese salad. Great kid mocktails too.

Definitely a high end steak house. Good flavor and cooked to my liking. (Med Rare) Service was top notch and having a window to see the Avalon bay was incredible.

Nothing to complain about here! Adam was superb! My husband started with a Four Rose's Manhattan & I got their version on a Pomegranate margarita. Yummy!! The menu had a lot of dining options including 6 surf & turf specials. What does one do at a steakhouse?? Order steak! We got 6 oysters to start, which were fresh & clean. My husband got the 20oz Porterhouse, which he stated "this is delicious"! He also got a small salad. I got the 12oz ribeye with a loaded baked potato. Yum! The best part, it was upstairs on the main street. Away from people but close to the water. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience!

This is a great restaurant. The food is amazing, but the drinks are not really, I try to drink an applepine mezcal, and I don't like the testing . These guys need to fix that, and also, we try to drink a strawberry margarita it was too sweet and too much alcohol sorry guys please fix that for us. Thank you

If you're looking for amazing service, amazing vegan and vegetarian options, and a fabulous beachside dining experience, look no further than Steve's Steakhouse & Seafood.
We opted for dining on the beach, which costs a $5 city fee. We wanted to enjoy the sights and sounds of Catalina, so we went for it.
Got the artichoke appetizer. Pretty sure I want to be buried with that lemon aioli sauce. Incredible!
I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and my partner ordered the cauliflower steak. Both were delicious but WOW, that cauliflower steak BLEW MY HAIR BACK! We could not stop RAVING about it. A HUGE shoutout to Steve's S&S for offering a great selection of interesting and DELICIOUS vegan and vegetarian option (rather than one obligatory black bean burger). We veg-heads really to notice and appreciate that!
Our server John was friendly, attentive, and knowledgable. The whole team was ON TOP OF IT with refills and clearing the table. My partner and I used to work in fine dining and we were VERY impressed with our entire experience at Steve's.

This was the best experience on the island as regards dining. It was Christmas Eve and we were lucky to not have to wait although it was full of people. Our server was Johnny and he was so great! The wait time was not long till our food came. We ordered the Buffalo Milk (yummy) and a pomegranate martini. The meal was so delicious and fresh, we got Scallops Avalon Style and Fresh Swordfish, so so good . They also offered bread and butter for additional $5, we did not get it though. It seems like they don’t take reservations, it’s first come first serve. 5 stars for sure!
