Amazing small little getaway from the normal restaurant style and corporate America diners.
Great customer service, friendly smiles, and fast service without the fast food taste. The food was scrumptious and delicious. You can definitely tell they took pride in making all the sides and the main course.
I had them prepare it in the kitchen but they do have the option of you cooking it at your table which was pretty fun from the patrons around me.
We ordered a hot pot and a seafood pancake, the food was delicious and the service was good. The interior is clean, well maintained, and there is no cooking smell considering it is a BBQ restaurant. Overall I think it is worth what I paid for.
It’s one of the best in Austin honestly. However, Austin’s Korean dinning experience is still growing so that’s not too good of a thing to compare it to. The food is good, the meat is delicious. As far as the other reviews here go, it’s true, they are understaffed and at times don’t respond to the bell. However, they will respond to the 저기요! However, the reason for my 1 star deduction is the lack of options other than the main staples. They don’t have rice paper, purple rice, etc… I understand it’s due to not having that much of a Korean presence in the city, however, it has to start somewhere.
Again, it’s one of the best you will get, for Austin.
We had a great experience at this authentic Korean BBQ. The brisket and spicy pork were excellent and easy to cook. The soondubu (spicy tofu stew with beef) was awesome and the side dishes (banchans) are fresh. The restaurant was busy but we received friendly and responsive service. My friend and I had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated but the food was worth it. I would certainly return to explore more of this traditional menu!
Great food! Great service! Don’t miss the chance to try this delicious k food! We ordered some Gam Ja Tang and oh boy! The flavor was awesome and the portion was for 2-3 people. Definitely coming back!
I met some of my coworkers for lunch here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our lunch party kept growing, so they offered to move us to the private room. Our waiter Ben was amazing and patient, and the food was delicious. We had the Kimchi pancake (crispy), Jabchae, Beef Bulgolgi, Soft Tofu Seafood Soup with Galbi, and combination meat grill. We will definitely come again.
Haven't been here in a while and when I do, I usually just order my fav Kimchi jige dish. This time decided to do the dine in cook top BBQ and man was it soo good, little bit expensive bit man so worth it. It's usually really expensive when you don't know what to order and you try everything, it's all about ordering just the stuff you really want to try or eat. Git the B2 Marinated Beef Short Ribs man cooking them and eating them was soo good. B4. Yangnyum Dwaeji Galbi, probably my new fav dish, if you like hunks of meat and the chewy tendons with some fat on it, and covered with a slightly sweet sauce on it, man so good. And if you like seafood, the Dolpan Nakji Gulsu, stir fried baby octopus with Kimchi, and udon noodles with sweet and spicy Korean sauce is very good too. I would eat here regularly if I could afford to. I definitely recommend trying this place out.
