Love this place as I am always greeted with a smile from the very friendly staff at the front desk. The machines are in excellent condition and there is plenty of them for a great workout which my son and I look forward to. The place is spic and span and there is plenty of disinfectant stations to clean up the machines after you use them. Overall this place has a cool atmosphere and I most definitely look forward to each workout. Love this place and recommend it to my friends and family

Boy do I love my experiences here so far! Unbeatable competitive prices, well maintained equipment, clean locker rooms, and friendly staff. There are so many features I love and the quality exceeds the price point. Shout out to Geordan for being exceptionally great, thank you for being so committed to the customer experience and satisfaction. I look forward to having a long tenure here.

Love the hydro massage chairs and beds. Great perks for Gold Card members, like massage and tanning beds. Helpful staff. It would be nice if there were lockers available to members for extended use , but the lockers available do have charging stations inside, so that's a plus.

The staff were nice, the place was clean. This is a smaller establishment than some of the PF's I've visited. It's a toss-up. Less space, but you also aren't walking into a half empty warehouse, like some places.
I liked that they had the small lockers where you can set a code.

I come here because this is the gym that is supposed to accept everybody and be kind to those who have disabilities. That is not the case and I wish to share my experience so that others will know how they will be treated. This evening I was working out on an elliptical when suddenly, the lights shut off. Because my left eye was injured from brain surgery, I can’t see well. It really scared me and I practically fell off my elliptical. My vision is distorted very easily when in darkness. Especially without warning. Also, I’m partially deaf. I can’t hear from one side due to the brain surgery and it interacts poorly with the eye complications. I seemed to have sprained my ankle when I was trying to get off the machine. I hobbled over to the closet behind the check-in desk where there was an employee on the telephone. I asked him if there was a reason the lights were turned off? He said “That they were closing in a few minutes”. I explained that this was a safety issue and that people were using equipment and that it was extremely dangerous to turn the lights off on them. I asked why he didn’t give any warning to the lights being turned off? He again repeated that they were closing in a few minutes. This was at 6:53 pm on a Saturday. I said that was unacceptable and I would be reaching out to a manager, to which he replied, with a laugh, “Good. You go ahead and do that.”
Obviously, do not go here if you wish to be treated with a modicum of respect, especially avoid if you have any disabilities or special needs.

Ok I am writing here in the hope of finding someone in charge at this location of planet fitness to take action. As you can see in the images, there is a wide spread black mold in the men showers ceiling. There is poor ventilation mixed with humidity which as everyone knows turns to mold. I would guess it is the same situation in the women’s showers. This is a bio hazard and can cause irreversible harm to members respiratory system specially when exposed for a period of time. I mentioned this twice at the front desk at this location and nothing has happened and the second staff I talked to said that the the decision makers are not there and the staff there have no power to take action. I understand that but I can not allow this to continue. I would give a few days before contacting city of Austin code department to send an inspector. The likely outcome when an inspector shows up and this problem is not fixed is to issue a violation and possibly shutting down the gym until this is fixed. So I am hoping that someone in the management team reads this and takes it seriously. Today is 4/21/2022. I will wait until Monday 4/24/2022 to see the mold gone and if not will contact the city of Austin code department and submit a complaint. This is reckless and a danger to public health.

I have been a member of Planet Fitness for many years, I used to regularly go to the old Oak Hill location before it was closed years ago. I have been going to the Westgate location a bit before Covid hit. Starting in February 2020, I decided to commit to 5 nights a week.
The current staff is a great team and work together very well. The location Manager, Quincy is very positive, attentive, and very conscious of members needs. Arieus, the Assistant Manager, is very upbeat and keeps members accountable with thier goals, she will be a great trainer some day. The morning Front Desk Attendant, Mateo is always welcoming and very motivating on each visit. The location Trainer, Alex, is a godsend, He pushes me harder with each weekly workout and accepts no excuses.
Overall, a great club to be a member at, needs 2 things though, 1) a return to being open 24/7 and 2) needs a speedbag in the corner on the lower floor.
I highly recommend this location for a deep, strong workout then hit the hydromassage bed and back to the house.

Clean place. Plenty of machines. Usually not crowded. But if you move and need to cancel you're screwed. Super scammy policies and procedures put in place to extract the maximum profit. Even when no longer providing services.
