Lots of good snack options for vegans and vegetarians. I took my friend here who lovesssss tea and she loved it! I wish there was more seating inside/more of a vibe. Very nice employees though!

TLDR: perfect spot for a relaxed brunch
First off, phenomenal tea list, which is a massive draw to this place. the staff is really friendly and welcoming, and the vibe of the whole restaurant is really great. even when it was a busy morning brunch, it still felt relaxed and peaceful. The food itself was good, but not great, but literally everything else about the place makes up for it. 4/5

If you love tea, and especially straight tea without any additions, this is the place for you. As someone who primarily drinks green, white, and herbal (caffeine-free) teas, I was thrilled to see how many options they had in these categories. I also tried and liked their Century Oaks Tea Service, which came with a nice assortment of tasty savory and sweet foods for a reasonable price. Overall excellent service - the staff were knowledgeable and friendly.

Had the Jasmine lemonade with and the pimento cheese tea sandwich with tomato soup. Excellent and friendly service, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere. Treated myself to a chai tea and candied ginger scone for dessert. They're both amazing!
Would highly recommend this for a chill date, or a place to relax.
Allergy aware with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options!!!

All I can say is wow! First all the staff and the owner are amazing. Very knowledgeable and helpful while educating about the tea and menu. Then you know they use best ingredients and create an approachable menu that is just so delicious. We will be back and have gone in just to buy pastries that are always fresh.

This was the second time we have had a tea party / birthday party at The Steeping Room. The food is always hot and delicious. They have a very extensive list of teas, so it's hard to choose which one to get. The scones and cream make the perfect ending to a wonderful lunch.

I always have my tea here when I come to Austin, the selection of Tea is great the cones are light and tasty, great friendly service

Been coming to this place for years and it never disappoints me.
The staff is friendly and always trying to cater to your needs.
Teas are really good and their Chai Latte Is amazing.
One thing I will say is the menu is a little limited but the choices are really good.
