We didn't expect to have dessert for lunch but we happened to pass by and couldn't resist all the tempting photos! They lived up to our expectations. Delicious ice cream! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I recommend sharing because it's a good portion of ice cream if you get the mason jar.
Over the top, delicious, unique and it actually looks like the pictures. If you order the sundae you keep the jar. They even have a sink for you to rinse it in. Fantastic service, and fast, at the time we went. Will absolutely return. 10/10 recommended
This place is a must go if you love milkshakes! We got the 'keep Austin weird' which is supposedly exclusive for this location. It was amazing! Also you can keep your glass 🤗
Prepare yourself for a taste bud symphony like no other. I recently indulged in what can only be described as a dessert masterpiece - the Mint Brownie Milkshake from The Yard Milkshake Bar. This sweet sensation left me utterly awestruck and craving for more. Instagram posts get ready.
The Marvelous Blend:
From the first sip to the last lingering taste, every element of this milkshake was a harmonious fusion of flavors. The base was velvety smooth, a rich and creamy canvas that perfectly balanced the intensity of the mint and the decadence of the brownie. The mint flavor was refreshingly vibrant, invoking visions of lush, sunlit gardens with every mouthful. It was neither overpowering nor artificial, but a delicate dance on the palate that left a cool, invigorating sensation.
The star of the show, the brownie topped with whip cream. Each bite was a revelation, revealing the gooey richness within the brownie.
The Mint Brownie Milkshake from The Yard Milkshake Bar is not just a milkshake; it's a transcendent experience that will redefine your perception of dessert satisfaction its a meal, It a Instagram post.
The Not so Good- Is the price. As this is a pricey dessert priced as a meal it is worth it wo treat yourself here.
Very interesting place! This is definitely the spot to go if you want an over the top milkshake. The person working there was good but it was definitely understaffed and they need at least two people working at a time because it was busy.
The wait can be quite long if you're ordering a pricey specialty, which goes for ~$17 at the time of this review. Definitely paying for the picture presentation. Had to wait about 25 minutes.
It tasted fine, but not mindblowing. If you're simply craving for a treat I recommend just getting ice cream.
My kids really loved this place. Their Jars are huge and really unique. The staff is nice. For me, the ice cream flavors was ok but I loved the cookie dough. We paid $76 for 3 jars which is a lot but it was good experience over all :)
The milkshakes were delicious! We got the Milk & Cookies and the Salted Caramel Cheesecake, both pictured below. Now…the experience was less “delicious”. Seems like the owner might be trying to cut corners: no AC at all (it was just as hot inside than outside, over 100°) and they’re VERY understaffed (made the service slow, although the kids working there were very nice and polite). Milkshakes 5/5 and Experience 2-3/5.

This is a great spot to celebrate the end of a fantastic photo session. So many creative options in such a cute little milkshake shop, you are bound to find something you absolutely LOVE. We had the Banana Split and O.M.G it was incredible! Definitely want to photograph a couple on date night at the Yard Milkshake shop!
Well, I enjoyed the cereal killer as it was very sweet and loaded with lots of goodies but 20 bucks. Getting to keep the jar is cool and all. But the looks of everything is amazing
