Absolutely LOVED working with Aphrodite Oysters at Brandt 1910! Everything from setup to clean up and all the delicious oysters in-between, were beyond professional. Would highly recommend them!

I had a truly wonderful experience with Aphrodite Oysters for my wife's surprise pool party. Kristen was incredibly helpful and accommodating, taking the time to understand my needs and make sure everything was perfect. She proposed specific items for the party that were both delicious and visually appealing, and she placed the order promptly.
On the day of the party, the catering staff was friendly, funny, and professional. They set up the table, ice tray and oysters quickly and efficiently, and they were always happy to answer any questions our guests had. Oysters and crab was absolutely delicious, and everyone raved about it.
I would highly recommend Aphrodite Oysters to anyone looking for a catering company that provides excellent food, service, and attention to detail. They made my wife's birthday party a complete success, and I will definitely be using them again in the future.
A couple of years ago, my girlfriend hired this company for her bridal shower so I held on to their business card until I had an excuse to use them and Aphrodite Oysters was once again top notch!
Kristen communicated extremely well and was great with negotiating selections based on my guest count. Although I paid in advance, I still had the option to make adjustments if they were warranted, 2 weeks prior to the event.
The staff arrived on time for the setup and the shucker arrived shortly afterwards. The entire staff was very professional, easy to work with, the setup was on point and they were easily the favorite of our event. Kristen has very high standards and I really appreciated her attention to detail.
I will definitely hire Aphrodite Oysters again for future events!
Kristen and her team are AWESOME!! I was the coordinator for a wedding reception in Austin during the famous February 2021 ice storm and had the pleasure of working with Aphrodite Oysters through it. Kristen was super helpful with all of our pre-booking questions and throughout all of the pre-event coordination.
Even though it was 20 degrees outside for cocktail hour, Aphrodite Oysters created beautiful displays for their shucking station and their charcuterie table. Kristen and her team were absolute champs for shucking and serving all of those oysters in that frigid weather.
I had an excellent time working with Aphrodite Oysters from beginning to end! I hope I can hire them again soon for another event :)
Such a fun experience on my birthday that all of the guests loved! The quality was some of the best I've ever had, and I eat a lot of oysters... We even had two non-oyster eating friends who ended up trying them and are now obsessed. They thought of everything with all of the accompaniments (you have to try their special mignonette, it was absolutely amazing) and our oyster shucker, Rudy, was super nice and fun! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to add a special touch to their upcoming event.
We knew right away we had to have a little oyster station for our wedding and I'm so glad we found Kristen with Aphrodite Oysters, it was the perfect compliment to our cocktail hour. The oysters were super fresh and delicious, it was the first to go out of the other food stations we had for our wedding that day! She was absolutely amazing, everyone still raves about them! Stop scrolling - Aphrodite Oysters is the best! We are located in Houston and my husband wanted to have a birthday party with a live shucker, fresh oysters, shrimp, sashimi and delicious passed appetizers. I called and spoke with so many catering companies, and not one came close to Kristen. She worked with my budget, delivered the menu of our dreams and don't get me started on the food. SO FRESH! Our guests were beyond impressed with the delicious food, excellent service and overall 'vibe' - her setup is amazing! Highly recommend on every level.

KJ was absolutely wonderful! Extremely responsive even with a last minute change. She came and shucked the oysters right in the driveway and made it a really fun experience for a birthday during quarantine! The oysters were from the Northeast which happened to be our favorite! Great quality and price. I would highly recommend Aphrodite Oysters!!!
