Wow, service is bad. I don’t generally leave reviews, but this experience deserves it.
Two stars because food is good and it’s mostly just one employee, but come on guys.
The burrito gets made with all the fillings in one ball in the middle. The young woman pushes down the center, balls it up and makes a huge tear, rolls burrito over to tuck folds, and makes another huge tear.
She looks up “That’s ok, right?” I say laughingly “No, let’s remake that please.”
Her “Ugh for real?”
Me *disbelievingly laughingly* “Yes for real, let’s get a new tortilla going, that one is ripped…”
She says with a teeth click “Ah it won’t rip.” She rolls it up, rings me up and walks off. 🫣
I didn’t want to push the issue, so I go sit at a table instead of taking to go. I go back to the table, open it up, still huge rip. I try my best to eat it. Ridiculous. I get in line after less than a minute of sitting down, order another burrito, and an empty bowl container with lid. At no point did anyone (Several people heard this exchange) ask if everything was alright for me, or why I wanted an empty bowl.
Paid for second burrito, boxed up first one to eat like it’s a bowl, and left.

Went here for an Uber eats. Asked about the orders I was picking up. Was told they were working on it. Considering the last time I picked up here I waited along with other drivers for close to an hour for our orders, I asked if she had any sort of ETA. I was told in a very rude tone “no, there isn’t.” Very helpful. Is it particularly difficult to be aware of ticket times in a restaurant? She was nicer to me after that, I think realizing how harsh she was initially. We all get stressed at our jobs. There’s no excuse for acting like that even if you realized afterward you should be nice.

This location has been declining in quality for a year or so now. The whole company sadly is declining, but I think this location (which is down the street from home) is not going to be in my regular rotation anymore. It’s too inconsistent, and it seems like it’s always new people who don’t know very much, which is an employee retention problem, not an employee problem. Today they were out of rice. Just out of rice. No clue when there would be more. Whole company is declining, but this store is probably the lowest in quality in town.

The girl making the burrito procede to clean the counter with her hand (gloves on) and the without changing the gloves went back to prepare the burritos . Also the same girl once she finished preparing the burrito goes to the trash can "to remove the extra liquid from the burrito" holding the burrito with one hand and the trash can with the other . Just disgusting. I called and left a voice-mail to the manager to repor this. 4/21 12:30pm
