Holy mole, come for the mole, stay for the mole, and come back for the mole! We live pretty close by and have been going here for lunches or dinners for years - consistently the best dish on the menu has been the Mole Enchilada dish. It comes with 3 enchiladas (your choice of filling) smothered in a deliciously unique mole sauce and cheese (definitely on the sweeter side of moles, so if that's not your thing then...), with a side of rice and refried beans, and garnished with a little bit of lettuce, avocado, and tomato. We could eat their chips and salsa all day long too. The owners are there pretty much all of the time, and we've never had a problem with any of the staff. In fact, the way they have treated us over the years is one of the reasons why we keep comin' back. As far as them not speaking English - maybe several years ago it was helpful if you could speak Spanish (which I think can be part of the fun of going to a hispanic-owned/operated business), but I see them speaking English to people all of the time in here nowadays, so - don't let that stop you from trying these mole enchiladas!!

Perfect food. Had the caldo de res and it was wonderful. Next time I will take a pic to post. Awesome service and everything fresh. Chips where nice warm crunchy and salsas are very tasty.

As someone who is NOT a fan of Tex-Mex, or Mexican fusion this place was a standout in Austin. Genuine, tacqueria style food served with fresh, hot tortillas and frijoles/rice in generous portions as per traditional tacqueria style. The atmosphere is simple, and understated with the cheesy and colorful decor of a tortilla factory style. The wait staff are attentive and polite, the drink options both hard and soft, are varied. They keep long hours and plenty of parking, and to this day served me the most delicious plate of chicken mole I have enjoyed in recent memory. Support a local business and enjoy Mexican food reminiscent of old Mexico (not new.)

Love it! Lovely cozy and laid back place to watch sports and have great food and drinks. Staff here is very friendly and never forgets about you. The Diablo Shrimp appetizer is to die for, and impressed with the piece count as it would be considered a full entree elsewhere... The camarones a la diabla have an amazing sauce that goes with them and there's 12 actual jumbo size shrimp! Ifyou like drinks, try the micheladas and the made In-house margaritas....

Our waiter was very nice, friendly, and polite and the food was amazing!!! I had enchiladas with mole and Verde sauce and my fiancee had chicken and beef steak fajitas. We were very pleased. The restaurant was clean and nice.

I can comfortably say they have the best salsa verde in town. Their beef fajita is my favorite. It goes well with every dish they have. Satisfying portions and a great care. You will definitely love their food.

Food was great, service wasnt so great being as we were the only ones in the restaurant. I do recommend the creamy green sauce. "You know a good Mexican restaurant through the way they make their salsa."

First time I've been. Had the Gringo breakfast plate. Over easy eggs done right. Sausage surprisingly good. Attentive waitress. Potatoes crispy if somewhat large. Left full and happy.
