Everyone at Tex Mex Joe’s are amazing! Whenever I come in, I am greeted with a warm smile and always feel welcomed. I love stopping in to pick up their watermelon agua fresca which is always made fresh. They truly are the backbone of this community.

This is a great hidden gem! Me and the lady love finding new restaurants to enjoy, we weren't disappointed with Tex Mex Joe's!
Tamales were great (moist) and flavorful! Menudo was also pretty good. Service was excellent and the staff is very friendly.
We will definitely be back to try out some of the dinner items!

We loved this place!! The food was authentic and tasted homemade, the service was wonderful (the staff even lent us their glasses to watch the solar eclipse), and the patio in the back was decorated vibrantly (dog-friendly too). The tres leches cake was so moist!!

This place definitely hit the spot! I always say if the salsa is good the food will be even better & that was definitely the case. The staff was so sweet and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back here! The pozole was amazing even in the summer.

The place deserves beyond 5 stars! Delicious food, that will be customized any way you want it. Excellent margaritas. And great service with a smile.
We came here because the other “big” places were full, but we’ll be coming here now every time we are in Austin.

Great food, loved sitting outside on the patio. We had the al pastor enchiladas, stuffed avacado, and a carnitas plate. All were good though some more carnitas would have been nice. The home made tortilla were absolutely delicious.

Been here a few times now. Family owned restaurant so expect a bit of a wait for your food to be prepped. Always tasty every time we've been there. Service is very homely. There is also a patio available. Try the mole- it is amazing.
