Seafood focused interesting plates. We came here for happy hour and ended up having dinner too. Tried a lot of their plates and cocktails. Other than one or two plates, I really enjoyed the dishes. They play jazz and its a cozy atmosphere. Would recommend for date night.

My 5-star rating takes into account their amazing happy hour specials. At happy hour prices the Green Ceviche is half-priced and enough for two people to share, and specialty cocktails are also half-priced. The Ceviche tuna was fresh tasting and mixed with avocado, served with perfectly textured and salted chips. For my main I had the Chimichurri Prawns served with spaghetti squash. The prawns were seared with a delicious char around the edges and the flavors of the coconut curry and almond pesto was uniquely flavorful. The churros were a wonderful ending, a simple fried-dough pastry elevated to a whole new wonderful level with horchata crème and a drizzle of dulce de leche. I tried two of the cocktails, the Lavender Gold Rush (bourbon, lavender bitters, lemon) and the Painkiller (an upscale version of this rum classic, with coconut crème and topped with nutmeg); both were delicious. The Lavender Gold is a sipping cocktail while the Painkiller can be too easily consumed much like pina coladas on a hot summer's day (so smooth and tasty you forget about the alcohol).

We've been here twice since it recently opened and both times were fantastic. While I normally prefer raw oysters, the baked oysters were out of this world. The fish tacos were the best I've every had and burger was excellent. We also tried the scallops and pork belly the first time we went - also excellent. All of the dishes are innovative and very well prepared. I wouldn't mind seeing the wine list expanded a bit, but all of the selections on the list are very good. We'll be back soon!

Went here with a friend on a Tuesday night and had the restaurant basically all to ourselves. We started with the ceviche and it was so delicious and fresh - hands down best seafood I've had in Austin so far. For my dinner I got the Aloha poke bowl, which was also to die for and very fresh. The drinks were also pretty good, I had the drink made with the egg whites (I forget the name) which was definitely an experience. Overall, the food was fresh and the restaurant was quaint and inviting. Great experience all around!

Amazing food and service and at a great price! Which I think is rare in Austin sometimes. Our waitress was super personable and gave us extra champagne in our mimosas! The chef/owner came out to say hello and make sure everything was satisfactory which was very nice. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite brunch places in town. They usually offer pretty unique food so it probably isn't for everyone. It's also a little pricey, a small menu, and the place isn't very big. They do have outdoor seating, so you can take your pups. But the food is awesome! I definitely recommend this place if you want to try something a little different.

Side note: most of these reviews are for the previous restaurant. Coast is a great new addition to the neighborhood! Small place but definitely worth trying. Good idea to get reservations, I think we were just squeezed in. Place just smells super fresh and the food tastes the same! Got the grouper tacos and grouper sandwich special. Excited to come back and try more!

The food at Mulberry was very good. The menu is a bit limited, so it's definitely not going to please everyone. They push limits rather than play it safe, such as bacon wrapped figs filled with goat cheese. I thought they were good, but the bacon overpowered them. The fried greet tomato sandwich was delicious! And the meatballs in a broth/sauce with crusty garlic bread was hearty. Happy hour is the way to do it with great prices. I'd definitely go back during HH and get some wine. I got beer this time.

This is a excellent choice for Sunday brunch! Parking is doable, the food is delicious, and the mimosas are spiked just enough to settle any post-Saturday hangover. My mouth is watering simply from remembering it's sausage and blueberry pancakes! Damn, it was delicious! Only thing is, indoor seating was just a little tight so you might want to get their earlier than later.

I love brunch at Mulberry. It is on the pricier side and the portions can be smaller but the food is always high quality. I've always gotten the seasonal frittata and have never been disappointed. Their coffee with REAL heavy cream is to die for. They also have really inexpensive mimosas ($3). It's best to get here early to guarantee a spot because it's pretty small. I haven't tried dinner yet but if their brunch menu is any indication, I'm sure its delicious.
