This is a great hide-a-way place downtown to get a cheap lunch that is healthy and taste great!! Convenient to dine inside (if they're not too busy), or to pick up an go. The staff are friendly, helpful, and give the feeling that they appreciate your business.
I love when avocado is standard on a sub, not extra cost! ThunderCloud is way better than Subway and better than WhichWich! Fresh and delicious. Great meat, veggies and bread. All around awesome!

I love thundercloud subs. The ingredients are fresh and prices are reasonable. They are great for vegetarians, as they have a fake-chicken patty that they can put on a sub with veggies or with marinara and cheese for fake-chicken parmigiana subs.
Simple, fresh, and tasty subs. The staff consists of prototypical Austin hipsters, but they all know how to make a mean sandwich. My top picks are the Egg Salad Sandwich, Veggie Delite, and the NADA Chicken Parmesan. (Yes, I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian.) Fast, cheap, good -- you really can have it all!

Easy place to slip into if you're in the area, they have a cool little mini library inside where you can borrow and leave books. The food is nice and easy; I appreciated the tables they had outside.
