Perfect food, it's hard to describe the tender marinated meat paired with seasoning and toppings that combine in each bite to create perfection.
The food was better than expected. The drinks (margaritas) were good but a little bit pricey. Service was indifferent. The decor in the restaurant was pretty cool. Nice patio as well. Over all had a great leisurely late lunch.
I went here during a lunch and they weren't too busy but we had great service. The salsa had great flavor so it started the meal off right. I followed that up with a margarita and chimichanga which I felt both were done right. I guess I was too hungry/it was too good and forgot to snap a picture before it was all gone!
Excellent food - Puffy Tacos were great, huevos rancheros also very good.
Short staffed on my most recent visit but very pleasant staff and the manager worked with us on the bill because it took so long to get some of our food. That being said, they know how to treat customers and recognize when to go the extra step to make things right.
Will definitely return when I'm in Austin.
Great food, good service. Had a pepper and cactus salad to start, I would go back just for that. The goat was tender and delicious, practically melted off my fork. My husband had the fish tacos, crispy and delicious. Be sure to try the "Bartender's Help" custom cocktails. Definitely not your usual tex-mex.
Grungy Mod Tex Mex. We thought their food was a refreshing twist in typical Tex Mex. Relaxing atmosphere. I thought the service was very good but a little slow but I'd rather that than being over attentive. We'll be back.
This place is the bomb! Matt was our bartender and he was always on top of things. Food was INSANELY delicious and the drinks are perfectly strong. 10/10 will come back at least once a week!
Fun atmosphere. Liked the Puffy Tacos and queso. The queso portion was small. The limemade was very yummie, though no free refills.
Pretty decent food. It's Tex-Mex but I would consider it a little more traditional. Good atmosphere, very open to the outside.
The carne asada tacos were delicious.
