Ann's Kitchen Cakes has been a family favorite for many years, so it seemed only right to get our wedding cake from her. As always, it did not disappoint! We went with the classic amaretto buttercream, white cake, and raspberry filling. Thankfully, our planner boxed up a large slice for my partner and I to take home, or else every crumb would have been devoured!
Ann's Kitchen made the cake for our wedding, and they were amazing. We told the delivery people we wanted to put a full size sword through our cake, and they disassembled our cake on the spot, removed the plastic supports that would have prevented the sword from going through the cake, and reassembled it. They absolutely saved our wedding. And the cake was delicious
I brought a white cake with strawberry filling and white butter cream frosting. The cake was moist and the frosting was sweet. The cake was smaller than I expected but it tasted good.

found them several years ago and will never go anywhere else. The icing is the best I have ever tasted. It has almond flavoring like wedding cakes had many years ago. They have started offering "girls night" cake decorating classes and I am looking forward to rounding up a few friends and learning a little bit about cake decorating. Not that I could come close to theirs. I have never had a bad experience there. They are the best!

I want to start this review off by say Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!
It was my oldest daughters birthday and she was turning 30. That is a big deal so i wanted to get her a very big deal kinda cake. I searched all over Austin for bakeries and even emailed a few with no responses. I finally found Ann's Kitchen, which is literally right around the corner from my house. I am extremely happy that I walked into their bakery. First off it smells so good as you walk in. Second the greeting I received was warm and welcoming. After I explained what I was looking for and how I wanted my daughters cake they said ok and that was that. When my daughter went to pick up her cake she was so happy and excited about how it came out that she got very emotional and started crying. It was happy tears of course. The cake came out better than I expected and the taste was amazing. What I ordered was a vanilla cake with strawberry filling. And silver glitter all over the cake. Our guests loved every crumb.
I never give out 5 stars but in this case Ann's Kitchen you deserve it. If I could give you 10 stars I would. Thank you again for the beautiful cake. And I would highly recommend ordering from them.
My obsession with Ann’s starting when I stopped in for a cupcake because life. Best vanilla cupcake I’ve had. So then I have my kids birthday cakes made there. Most amazing thing ever. But then I asked there opinion on my brothers bday cake - was wanting to do something different and they suggested the triple chocolate... MULTIPLE people, myself included, said it was the BEST cake they’ve ever had. No lies. It’s seriously taken 34 years for me to say this. Pricey yes, but what wouldn’t you pay for the best cake you’ve ever had in your life????
I love this place. The cakes are delicious and the decorating is true art. The prices are very reasonable given the amount of time needed to create these Delicacies. Hence, these wonder cakes will be slightly more expensive than HEB pricing, but the increase is certainly well worth the superior flavor. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
I love their cake slices- Sweet buttercream icings are delicious. I wish they had more flavors. I had ordered a safari cake for my son's birthday & everyone loved the taste! I bought the fondants online. The decor on the cake costed more than the cake but overall it was delicious!
LOVE their cakes. They are very moist, cream cheese icing actually tastes like cream cheese. My favorite is the chocolate and cream cheese flavor. My husband loves the Italian cream. Definitely one of the best cakes I have tasted in Austin.
My husband has been asking me for a doberge cake for over a year. I don't have the patience for baking and that cake Is complicated found this place and the staff was great and accommodating. He loved his cake said it was the best he has ever had. Even my picky 4 year old loved it and surprisingly he doesn't like sweets. Definitely recommend this place
