I have visited this establishment twice, and each time, there was an unpleasant odor upon entering. However, it's a good thing that the food more than makes up for it. The dishes are amazingly delicious, and they serve generous portions, so you won't leave hungry! You can't go wrong with the selection of tacos; my go-to choice is Yayo's al pastor. Good chips and salsa is a bonus too! Additionally, the waitress was nice and accommodating which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be coming back again because of the fantastic food and service, although I do wish the place didn't have that odor issue.
I was actually really impressed by this place. The food and cocktails were amazing. Only complaint is the whole "sports bar loud" theme they got going on. I love watching a game, but it would be nice to have a section that was a bit more intimate.
I’ve had up and down experiences here. Last time was pretty substandard service, today was great! I rated a 5 because I have love for Baby A’cks!!
Food was great.
They were under staffed so it probably was a little longer wait than the normal for them.
Certainly would return if in the area.
It is a good place to come and stop by for something delicious and fast.. very good service and great flavor in the food.. highly recommended place
The food was really good , service was quick and nice atmosphere We will be back.
Good food, even better margs! This is one of the few places in Austin where I’ve been able to find enchiladas with chile con carne. Come here to kick off your weekend on a Friday night!
Great chips and salsa, great mexican food, margaritas are on point! But...
Love the place with the food and drinks. One of the selling points of the restaurant are their margaritas. If you are a Rooster Teeth fan, yes, this is the Baby A's they talked about. These margaritas are really good and worth trying.
Food itself is pretty good and plenty. Burrito is gigantic, the tacos are plenty and the fajitas... Big. Like, fajita for 1 can feed 2 people. Worth it!
...But sadly, the location has deteriorated. Walls look old and scratch. Bathroom looks really old. And during COVID and Monkey Pox outbreaks the staff is not using masks. Sadly, at the time there is no city wide order for health hazards so, hope servers stay safe.
They are sometimes understaff but they are friendly and have treated us really well every time we visit. Cannot blame the server to cover a whole restaurant sometimes. Please tip them for their effort at these times.
It becomes really loud and crowded at night specially on the weekends. There is no patio but they do have a "waiting area" inside isolated from everyone that is barely used but you can't order drinks or eat on those tables. Which would be great for anyone who wants to isolate themselves from the crowd to be safe from crowds. Hope they allow dinning in the waiting area for their clients soon.
Overall, it is still solid location for hanging out, trying margaritas and having really good fajitas.
We visited Baby Acapulco many times while we lived in Austin and loved the food (especially the soup), drinks, and atmosphere. Today we returned to the area to attend a funeral. We reserved a room at Baby A’s in Pflugerville and requested they cater a late lunch. They were very accommodating, the staff was friendly, and the food was incredible! We were able to relax, visit, and eat delicious food before we all made a long drive home. We were very surprised at the reasonable cost to set this up! If you have a birthday party, work gathering, etc., definitely contact Baby A’s!
Wow! This place is my new spot for Mexican food! It was so good! I highly recommend!
