Best BBQ on Congress!!!! We had the brisket and sausages and both were delicious! The spicy corn was a great side also. And it was a very good deal as well. Highly recommended! Thanks Vinny!

Big Vinny’s Austin texas definitely the best bbq Austin texas hands down . Lots of flavor good service and over all the staff is super cool. I couldn’t be happier with how much big Vinny’s bbq comes out. High quality 100 percent and deserves all the stars . This will always be my go to spot as well as my family for a very long time. Shout out to big Vinny’s bbq 🔥 🔥

Highly recommend to everyone to make this your first stop on South Congress for amazing BBQ. Ribs are fall off the bone, great balance of flavours. Brisket super tender and delicious smoked jalapeno sausages, one with and one without cheese. Sides are amazing - potatoe salad and beans. Delicious and finger lick'in good!!! Will be hard pressed to find an equal in when I return home.

Big Vinny is absolutely the greatest guy and the bbq is just a reflection of his personality. Everything on the menu is worth a try and you can snag some to walk down congress with. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Austin for a visit. Always a great option that’s on par with terry blacks or franklins minus the lines.

Ordered up brisket plate & a pork rib/brisket plate with potato salad & beans. Absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Tender and flavorful to the max. Next time getting more pork ribs. Also, Thank you for the bonus bite!

Revisited on Apr 30th. Same 5 star quality Bbq with NEW trailer upgrade! Big Vinny and Brandon are "The Bbq Dynamic Duo of SoCo"! See new pics. Big Vinny BBQ is WOW! Austin has a plethora of Great Bbq establishments. Its hard to name who is the best. However, Big Vinny has separated himself from the herd. He has great food but the separation comes with repor. He takes the time to talk with you. This is my 2nd visit with many more to come. He genuinely cares about those that stop at his Bbq trailer located on South Congress. Both times, we have conversated about things other than bbq or as I refer to it as "burnt meat". Its hard to drive past the aromas of brisket chicken and sausage from other big restaurant pits, I'll admit. But its made easy when Big Vinny listens and cares about those that make their way to him.

I had ribs and sausage and they were both out-of-this-world. The sausage in particular was memorable for me. Joe, who hosted us, was generous and kind. I had such a great experience at Big Vinny’s.
