We checked out High Note for brunch on a Sunday. They have a free private parking garage, so this is definitely a plus for Austin. High Note is dog-friendly, and we were able to get a reservation on their outdoor patio. The restaurant wasn't fully busy, and there were plenty of seats available (may not need to get reservations here after all).
We ordered:
-Butter Coffee (MCT oil & ghee) for $5.50
-Blistered Shishito Peppers with cashew aioli for $9
-High Note Combo (soft scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, choice of waffles or French toast) for $13
I never tried butter coffee before, and I don't think I would ever order it again. It tastes like what it's supposed to be... butter and coffee, but I don't like the combination at all. It's not terrible, but it's not that good either (2/5). The waiter said it's more filling and heartier for people rather than just a morning coffee.
The blistered shishito peppers with the cashew aioli was delicious (5/5). I would recommend getting this for sure. The High Note Combo was okay (3/5). I ordered the French toast with it, and it tasted kind of dry even while dipping it in syrup. The bacon tasted kind of weird, the sausage was meh, and I wish I had more of a choice of how I could get my eggs prepared (not just scrambled). I wouldn't order this breakfast plate again.
Overall, I did like High Note. The service was great, the outdoor patio was beautiful, and they are dog-friendly. Although I loved the blistered shishito peppers, their breakfast plate was not that great. If I came back, I would order other items on their menu instead.

HIGHLY recommend! Super cute spot with great food!
COVID: Restaurant is taking precautions including all staff wearing mask, tables being cleaned before and after each guest, tables distances apart. I appreciate the care and felt comfortable/safe in their large open interior dining area.
This is my second time at High Note and I think it will easily become one of my favorites here in Austin. The staff is incredibly welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable of their menu. I kept asking questions and our waiter, Josh was patient and answered all my questions.
I love the menu here because they have a lot of options! Meat eats, vegetarians, healthy eaters, etc all can unite at this restaurant. They also have a larger and diverse drinks menu including matcha lattes, espresso drinks, fresh juices, lots of fun cocktails.
I got the cauliflower waffles Benedict and loved it!
High Note is also a very bright and restaurant. It’s also PRISTINE CLEAN including the bathrooms which is so so nice! It's a great spot for brunch with the girls/family. I can't wait to come back for HH.

Nice, centrally located restaurant. My girlfriend and I have gone three times so far, and each time we have had excellent service and good quality food and drinks. We are especially fond of the fresh juice cocktails. We have tried all of them, and while they're all good, we both agree that the beet with gin and the carrot with rye are the most interesting. Would (and have) recommend to a friend.

First of all, the place is crystal clean. That’s a more expensive restaurant cleanness. I was really happy that I finally went to a really clean restaurant that is not high end.
Moreover, the natural light was very good too. So mornings there would be awesome, but they need to add omelets to their breakfast menu (just an opinion).
The idea of paying while ordering is cool as I was able to leave as soon as I wanted to. I ordered a salad, there was nothing special about it, but it was exactly as described and as expected, which is actually cool as I am now sure when I go there I will not be disappointed.
The waiter was nice, she didn’t look tired or bored of the job. This was a happy restaurant experience.

This is a delightful little restaurant with a healthy aim. It is order at the counter service, it seems. Still, the staff there are quite kind and responsive.
They have a variety of fresh cocktails, both alcoholic and "healthy" which is non-alcoholic. I tried the 'beet' which is pictured, also.
Prices are somewhat high for the food, but it's good quality.
This is owned by the same folks that own Kerbey Lane, with a fresh take on a healthier locale.
Parking is included in a deck right beside the joint, free parking, so don't worry about that.
Menu is attached in a photo, hope it's readable after upload.

Healthy Clean Eats brought to you by the team behind Kerbey Lane. This South Lamar spot has a diverse menu with something for everyone, as long as you are into healthy fare. All of the food is beautiful and colorful and you leave feeling satiated and light.
Parking lot in the building is a plus, and there is also paid street meter parking in the area.
Order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. Waitstaff is very helpful and available should you need anything. Indoor seating area is beautiful and bright. There is also a pretty great large patio with tons of shade if you want to enjoy dining al fresco.
Do try the dip trio with the vegan cashew QUESO. It’s really something else.
Loved the salmon poke rolls and the broccolini sandwich.
They also have a menu of juice drinks, that you can enjoy “healthy” or “boozy” which is a fun take on juice.
Pretty much everything on this menu is Instagrammable ;) I have been twice and am definitely going to return.

So glad we came to High Note for lunch! Super chill for a Saturday and the food was fresh and high quality. I like this place better than Kerby 🤫 Had the Dip Trip and Chop Salad with the Boozy Sweet Potato juice. Also pictured is the Heathy Beet. Highly recommended!

Food was very good but the portion size was a bit small, so they spread the food out. Pancake coffee was a bit misleading, as all I could really taste was the ghee butter. Overall the quality was certainly there though!

Great new spot for a healthy brunch or or lunch. The outdoor patio allows for doggo friends and the fans offset the heat somewhat. Fresh juices, spiked or not. Many gluten free and vegan options for breakfast and lunch. The quinoa felafel with pickled slaw is a favorite. Staff is welcoming and attentive. Garage parking next door.

🗣 If you're looking for a chic and classy social spot, this is it 💯 Beautiful interior decorating inside and on the covered patio (no fans/heaters though)... the silverware and dishes were even cute 🍽 Definitely will be my Sunday Funday chill spot for a while 📍
Staff was great, even chit chatted with my waitress in the ladies room 🚻 And my Yellow Coconut Curry was so good, paleo and SPICY 🔥 BTW, their menu will cater to all you're clean eating needs (vegetarian, paleo, ketogenic, gluten free, carnivore)!!! #SOAUSTIN

This place is pretty good, but not amazing. The salmon poke is good, but it won't come in a bowl. It's on a plate and in separated portions. The dip trip was great with different flavors and the kale chicken salad is pretty good. We didn't get any of the coffees, but had a cucumber ginger agua fresa which was good. The service is really good and the place is very clean. Great location downtown too.

My friends and I love their shishito peppers, the poke wraps and bowl, and their Curry Salmon dish. Their ginger cucumber beverage is extremely refreshing with the right balance of ginger and cucumber.
Similar to many restaurants in the area, you pay at the counter and grab your number and a seat and the waitstaff bring your items along pretty quickly.
In my opinion, some of the reviews are not fair. High Note is cute and is a healthy chic restaurant. If you are looking for tasty food, great ambiance, and a kind staff they have it all. The prices are pretty reflective of the type of restaurant that this is and the portions are smaller, but it is not Chipotle and it is not a food truck so I find that it is reasonable considering the location and the importance of paying a livable wage for their staff.
