The ladies here are so sweet!!!. Authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend the menudo and Los tacos de pastor. Horchata taste fresh and cold. And the chips come out fast. Easy parking and clean!!!!

Excellent, authentic and rarity foods are the best. My waitress, she was so helpful, kind and deserved at least a 50 for her tip! enjoy Español comida at decent prices! I know I did! At this location on s. 1st and oltorf rd. Here in good old Austin, Texas!! Ty for an excellent experience!!! I really enjoyed my lunch! I believe I have some photos of my food right here!

It's really more a three and a half star than anything. Fine, but not great. Got Carne gusada on flour and shredded chicken on flour. The Gusada was better than it looked, since it looked like bologna chunks, instead of beef. Tasted OK, only moderately tender. It's a no It's really more a three and a half star than anything. Tasted OK, only moderately tender. It's a no for me. The chicken was better. Seasoned well. Substantial portion. $3.50 for each and two was a meal. Where it really fell short were the floor tortillas. Thickness was fine, but they didn't try to warm or crisp them up at all. Bland. Will try again for breakfast. The chicken was better. Great service, good food and prices. I suggest being very specific about what you want (size, spice level, how you want things cooked etc.) Otherwise, you may get the large size of everything and / or food could be a bit more bland than you want. Al Pastor was very good all around.

Authentic Mexican food. Their mini street tacos are delicious. The meat is solid. Salsa is also delicious. Only complaint is that the spiciness of the salsa is inconsistent. Some days you’re on fire, and others it’s normal. They are always nice and food is great.

We ordered tamales for the White Elephant crew party of Ballet Austin's Nutcracker. It was at the Long Center. Everyone enjoyed the spread which included the tamales. Delish! Last minute order, no prob, included hot sauces, and napkins. Arandas provided a perfect meal in such a short time.

Visiting the area and I asked a Mexican Woman where she would recommend a local mom and pops type of restaurant…a whole in the wall to where the food is made with love. She recommended this specific location…I guess there’s others but she stated this location was the one. I looked at the menu and nothing caught my eye. I asked the waitress if they make Sopes and even though it is not on the menu, they do make it and I couldn’t be any happier. My daughter went with the Tacos de Asada Plate and she really enjoyed it. Now I forget when you come in they give you the chips and salsa…their salsa was one of the best we’ve had! It was PERFECT my daughter couldn’t stop raving about it. Let me not forget, the customer service is great!!!

This is really an amazing and very well run family restaurant with some really great folks. The food is outstanding and is as authentic as it gets. The atmosphere is fun and classic both. It really is one of my favorite restaurants.
