Heo Eatery - Austin - Photo album

It’s a little confusing because Heo Eatery has combined with Bun Belly, but both of their storefront photos on Google aren’t updated. This is located in a plaza, and the main restaurant sign reads Bun Belly. I read complaints about the service, but when I visited there was one waitress for the whole
Danngggggg this place was so cute. The person at the register was super friendly and patient, quickly explaining everything clearly and concisely for us, with a dash of humor. I appreciate the simple, easy-to-understand menu and the vegetarian options. The decor was cute and minimal, with a really n
Two delicious pork buns and a duck bahn mi for lunch for $20. The place is small but designed well and very inviting. I'm bringing my family back here for sure!
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent decor! Delicious! I can't believe we just found it. 🤌
I randomly stopped in for lunch and wow, am I glad I did! I really enjoyed it. Atmosphere: It's a small Vietnamese-inspired place right on Lamar with a few parking spots out front. The inside is modern, pleasant, and clean. Service: Order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The fellow at
Enjoyable pho, good service, great interior design. Pho portion was a little small. Taste was good. Broth was very light. Thai iced tea was good too. Pho was a bit pricey (~$15 if I recall correctly) Confusing: this restaurant is the same as bun belly?
A clean, modern restaurant serving up interpretations of Vietnamese dishes I grew up with! The Tumeric Fish and Lemongrass Beef are flavorful and deceivingly filling despite seeming like a smaller portion than you'd get at any other Vietnamese phở restaurant. Kids will love the simple phở and tater
The rice boxes are really good. Pho is on point considering this as a fusion place. The pork belly in the baos are very fatty. I mean 50% of the meat piece is fat. Service is meh. The lady at the register seemed not happy to have customers LOL.
Fantastic place! It is my new go to Vietnamese place that is close to home! The Pho is wonderful and doesn't taste loaded with MSG. Always fresh and they are consistent with their quality. My personal FAVORITE right now is absolutely the Lemongrass Beef Vermicelli Bowl. I know authentic Vietnamese
A concise menu made well takes the effort out of eating, and Heo offers just that. Everything we ordered was fresh and well portioned, so we didn't feel overloaded leaving (rare with all the good food in Austin.) Bonus points for USB chargers in the booths.
Full hearts and full bellies. We are thrilled to have found this place. Saw the graffiti from the road and decided to stop by today. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Great portions, killer vietnamese coffee, and wonderful service. Pork belly bao was juicy and hit all the notes but the
I've been here a few times already and I have my favorites. Skip the pork belly bun and go straight to the lemongrass beef bun. I think pork belly is over-rated and it's simply dressed in hoisin sauce. My favorite is the turmeric fish rice box. You can see and taste the aroma of the turmeric fish.
Very nice bao, pork belly sandwich. The seasoning is to the point and mean is well braised. We also had fermented spicy pork as the side, delicious!
I love the food and the all the drinks I've tried so far!! The rice boxes are delicious, specifically I've had the fish one and the chicken one, love the rice!! This drink in the pic is called: Singapore Spin. To me it reminds me of an iced caramel coffee!! It has black tea and condensed milk, it's
Simply AMAZING! I highly recommend their Turmeric fish. Being a connoisseur of Indian food, I was skeptical of the usage of turmeric in Asian food. But I was wrong! The dish is simply delicious. They also serve delicious steamed buns.
