Waiting for this place to reopen!!!! Food was so amazing, me and my boyfriend would drive an hour and a half almost every month to come eat here. Jay was such an amazing waiter; very attentive to our needs, and remembered us and our order every time.

Been coming here about 3 years now, owner is usually there helping run the place and is ultra kind. Service is always quick and after trying numerous indian places in austin, this is easily my favorite one. Delicious meals and an endless supply of Taj Mahal

An unexpected delight! Walking in, the restaurant was rather barren and I had concerns about the lack of customers. However, as soon as I was brought my Saag with lamb I was beyond satisfied. The flavors were perfect and the lamb was tender. Can't beat quality food and great service, definitely coming here again :)

Wonderful service and food! Absolutely love the vegetable pakoras with the mint chutney. For entrees, the chicken tikka masala is a classic and some of the best tikka I’ve experienced in Austin and the paneer saag is another classic I absolutely love! I’m not usually into paneer, but Bombay Bistro has the best I’ve ever tried. I have dietary restrictions (celiac/gluten-free) and the menu is very accommodating. Will be back soon!

Well I’ll be darned - the most beautiful, quaint little bistro to stumble upon of a Friday night wah. As we walked in we were greeted with open arms by the host/possibly owner? Either way very friendly. My friend Mark and I proceeded to order the samosas, poppadom w/mango chutney, sizzling tikka plate, garlic naan, peschwari naan, tikka masala and a korma - every last dish was stunning. I ate a little more than Mark did to which the owner made note that I was ‘The New King’. Will definitely be back

This is THE BEST Indian Food in Austin Texas. The flavor, the spice, and the quality of the food has always been on point. I have tried elsewhere in Austin and Bombay is by far the best Indian food. On top of how great the food is, the customer service has been exceptional. There is only one location now but I am glad they are still in business. Please do yourself a favor and try it. You will not be disappointed.

Haven't had Indian food in a good while, so I came out to Bombay Bistro and I got the: - Chicken Korma: onion based, rich curry that was delicious. This is my favorite type of curry and they did it very well! - Chicken Tikka Masala: I'm not often a big fan of this type of curry since it's too light for me, but this was creamier. Almost like a tomato bisque soup for example. I liked it like this and I can say it's THE BEST I've had in town. Love this, too! - Bread Assortment: Here you get 1 of each of their naans, there was 5 or 6, I forgot. Either way, it was VERY filling. Big portions and definitely a fair price. All in all, I was a big fan of this spot. Great customer service as the owner kept checking in on us. Great sized portions and nice lowlit interior. I give them a 5/5 for being amazing!

Love this place. The flavor and quality of the food is amazing. Ordered the variety bread basket and couldn’t quit eating it. Then came the coconut curry veggies and the other person ordered the lamb. I would suggest giving this place a try. It will make your taste buds come alive. Thank you Bombay Bistro for provoking such a flavor filled dinning experience.

Go here. Stop searching for where to eat and drive/call here. The flavors were fantastic and only outdone by the superb quality and freshness of the ingredients. Not much else to say besides I can't wait to go back.

Really amazing food. The chef special paneer appetizer is a must have. For entree we tried the bharwan aloo which we moved. They were perfectly cooked, the stuffing was delicious and presentation amazing. One plate has 3 big pieces along with lot of curry and comes with rice. Perfect for agreeing with one or two people. The place has a full bar and great ambience.
