Angie's Mexican Restaurant - Austin - Photo album

So if you are in Austin craving some good ol Mexican food, you should visit this place. We stopped on a whim and were not disappointed. The owner attended to us and added the extra personal touch. She let me sample the flour tortilla...mmm... too bad it was not breakfast because I'm sure they will
I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to try this spot on E. 7th! Did breakfast tacos and Huevos Mexicana. Both were delicious. We dined in and they gave chips and salsa (not a lot of places do this for bfast). The salsa had great heat - not too much, just the right amount. And the chips came out w
Great food and service. Finally a salsa with a little heat and good flavor. The chips are the light and fluffy kind that i love. We went at a time that wasn't busy, so that could be why the service was excellent, but I've never been so well taken care of in a restaurant. The front parking lot is sma
Clean $$$ good customer service. Delicious homemade corn tortillas. Menudo was over cooked for me but it did have hominy, it has potential to be good. Might try again. Food was a bit on the cold side. Good coffee. I didn't care for the chorizo and bean taco. Chorizo is not cooked into the food,
The salsa and chips are very good. yet spicy. As usual, the food came out scathing hot, spicy as requested And delicious. My daughter got that 2 enchiladas and puffy taco, beans And rice. I got the steak Tampiqueno and it was delicious. We also got the lemonade which was fantastic.
First time here. Puffy tacos were an absolute DREAM to me! Had the enchiladas as well and homemade corn tortillas are exceptional! Salsa and chips were awesome too, worth noting because I love to eat salsa and tortilla chips! Can’t wait to return!!
This was my 1st time eating at Angie's in several years. I will definitely be going back. Everything on my Mexican plate was delicious (crispy taco, enchiladas, rice and beans. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The guy who checked us out at the register even provided some food recomme
Great experience here! It was a lovely way to spend a quiet Wednesday morning. They made me the plate I specially ordered and it was just what I expected and wanted. I would take a picture of my plate but I ate ALL the food 😊
Had the puffy tacos, delish!! One bite of the tortilla and you know it's homemade!!
Always have a good experience at Angie's! It's a great lunch spot for anyone who works close to downtown. Everyone is super friendly, and the food always comes out hot, fresh, and Delicious!
We celebrated my dad's 77th birthday. The food was great, service was great, they went above and beyond with extra service that we asked for. We fell in love with the owner, she was so caring and friendly. The only downside was we couldn't pay separate, my brother paid the bill and we all had to pay
Delicious food, amazing, kind staff. Would highly recommend! Authentic Mexican for your heart to enjoy :)
The best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Service is phenomenal, enchiladas are outta this world, tacos are amazing. If you’re in Austin you gotta make your way over and ask for Felix.
Always a great place to have a good meal and visit with friends/co-workers. Angie is always so sweet and accommodating. They brought out a special Tres Leches cake for my boss' birthday without us even asking. Their fresh squeezed lemonade is delicious and served in a margarita glass!!
Our family has been coming here for 30 years! Angie is so lovely and her food is divine. It is one of the only places we've found where the cheese enchiladas are served piping hot. Everything you get is delicious and the service is exceptional.
