Great experience here! It was a lovely way to spend a quiet Wednesday morning. They made me the plate I specially ordered and it was just what I expected and wanted. I would take a picture of my plate but I ate ALL the food 😊

Great food and service. Finally a salsa with a little heat and good flavor. The chips are the light and fluffy kind that i love. We went at a time that wasn't busy, so that could be why the service was excellent, but I've never been so well taken care of in a restaurant. The front parking lot is small but there is a sign meeting you know they have more parking in back. I just don't know how easy it is to find, but I didn't try. I'd give 5 stars but I don't want people to expect it to be fancy.

The salsa and chips are very good. yet spicy. As usual, the food came out scathing hot, spicy as requested And delicious. My daughter got that 2 enchiladas and puffy taco, beans And rice. I got the steak Tampiqueno and it was delicious. We also got the lemonade which was fantastic.

So if you are in Austin craving some good ol Mexican food, you should visit this place. We stopped on a whim and were not disappointed. The owner attended to us and added the extra personal touch. She let me sample the flour tortilla...mmm... too bad it was not breakfast because I'm sure they will be good in a taco. My wife loved the beef. I could not get enough of the salsa. The puffy style tacos are filling. If you stop by..provecho!

We celebrated my dad's 77th birthday. The food was great, service was great, they went above and beyond with extra service that we asked for. We fell in love with the owner, she was so caring and friendly. The only downside was we couldn't pay separate, my brother paid the bill and we all had to pay him.

The best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Service is phenomenal, enchiladas are outta this world, tacos are amazing. If you’re in Austin you gotta make your way over and ask for Felix.

I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to try this spot on E. 7th! Did breakfast tacos and Huevos Mexicana. Both were delicious. We dined in and they gave chips and salsa (not a lot of places do this for bfast). The salsa had great heat - not too much, just the right amount. And the chips came out warmmmm 🤌🏼 The tacos and plate were both great! Came out piping hot, great flavor. The chorizo was NOT greasy but was so flavorful - what a rarity! The tortillas also had good thickness and size. I was full 1.5 tacos in. I'll definitely be back!!
