T-loc's Sonora Hot Dogs

Excellent service with friendly people and great food. I’ve never heard of Sonora hot dogs before. Couldn’t resist trying the La Sonora Dip (bacon wrapped hot dog with birria). The hot dog was excellent and the birria had great flavor, the best I’ve had in Austin. The strawberry orange agua fresca was refreshing as well on a hot summer day. I will definitely be back when I’m in Austin again.

🌭T-Loc’s 🌭 I have been wanting to try this place for a while and what better time than the week of July 4th! The dogs live up to the hype! Such great flavor and contrasts. Highly recommend the Sonoran Dog ‘con todo’ and the papas bravas - only $14 in total. It’s a lot of food but it’s very tasty! Can’t wait to come back :)

This little truck has some amazing food. The eggsplosion burrito has everything you'd want in a breakfast all day type of burrito. Hashbrowns, eggs, cheese, and Carne asada. All wrapped and ready to go. The sauces are home made goodness. Ranch Fries are amazing bites of heaven. You expect some smothered fries but when they hit your taste buds it's like a wow factor because of the sauce. The Sonoran hotdogs speaks for itself. Definitely a must try when in Austin.

T-Loc's had been on our Yelp bookmarks list for quite some time now, and so when it was my turn to plan date night for my Husband and I, I immediately chose T-Loc's and boy did they NOT disappoint!!! The convenience of ordering online and picking up from their food truck was easy, and they are located in a decent sized food truck park with plenty of parking spots and outdoor tables. The staff greeted us kindly and warmly, and when we mentioned this was our first time trying, they were so excited to share their love for the food. My Husband and I both ordered a Sonora Hot Dog (which is covered in beans, grilled onions, tomatoes, mustard, mayo & a yummy creamy jalapeno sauce) upgraded with a veggie dog, and shared an order of their Papas Bravas which are crinkle cut fries drizzled in an aoili (soo good). HOLY COW! I was so blown away by the variety of flavors! We were in such awe of how good the food was, I think it's safe to say we were catching people's attentions by the looks on our faces because the next thing we knew, one of the employees from T-Loc's walked over to our car window and asked how we liked it. We let her know just how delicious everything was and that we'd definitely be back!!

WOW!! This place is delicious! Me and my gal took a trip to Austin (from Houston) and came across this spot online looking for good eats. We ordered the La Sonora Dip Hotdog, the Carne Asada Fries, and the Strawberry/Orange Agua Fresca.. ❗️10 out of 10❗️The owner was very nice and attentive. We will definitely be back next time we're in Austin.

Made sure to stop here before my trip ended to enjoy the best hot dog in Austin. So much great flavor in the Sonoran Dog. For me, it's the amazing construction of all the ingredients in the perfectly toasted, soft and crispy bun. The asada fries were shared amongst two, loaded to the rim. Highly recommend this gem of a food truck.

If you’re wondering if you should come and try one…do it. Seriously, do it. I guarantee you will not regret it. T-loc’s is 100% the best Sonoran hotdog I’ve ever had. I’m from Chicago originally and love a great dog, this is up there with the best ones I’ve ever tasted. Make sure to get the market dog and get it con todo plus order the chile on the side. It’s also great cold so feel free to order one for there and one to go to enjoy later when the craving hits again. Tons of outdoor space in the food truck park, best spots will be nearest the fans by the trailer though since the fans help keep flies away. Everyone at the t-loc trailer (usually the founders/owners - Miguel and Zulma) are so so nice, great conversations and happy to meet new people. They work their magic and make delicious amazing perfect food, please go and support them and see for yourself how amazing everything really is.
