Can I please give 10 stars? I hosted a holiday brunch recently at Night Cap. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing. Mario helped come up with the perfect menu and drink options and the ambience was exceptional. Perfect! The entire staff was helpful and attentive. The food was out of this world. We were treated like friends and not just another event. This is why I support this small business in Austin. I will definitely be going back often to enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere of Nightcap.

Service, food, and atmosphere were excellent for a date night. Drinks missed the mark though unfortunately. Drinks were $20/ea and they were small and didn't really taste the best lol. But food was great. We had the broccoli soup and also the grilled cheese, both delicious. This place is usually always packed.

Nothing short of delightful. Every visit, we are thrilled with the food and service. The menu is small but mighty. Quality over quantity. The brussel sprouts are fantastic and you can't go wrong with any of their signature cocktails. The indoor space is so cozy and I love how they kept the charm of the old house. The yard is great for a more casual experience but the same top notch quality food and drinks. Kudos and thank you for all your hard work.

I’ve always been impressed with this place as an amazing cocktail spot and great food. But y’all… Nightcap is so much more than I anticipated. I had a work dinner that I had to book a private room for. I was looking for the perfect spot that wasn’t a chain. I love booking local. But I was stressing, I was shocked when we found out Nightcap has a private room! My party said upfront, “no downtown locations bc of parking.” But the parking at Nightcap was great! Kristen moved mountains for me to make sure my dinner was a success. She was simply amazing. She had such attention to detail and created an impressive menu. She took the time to look into our company and what we were bringing to market. All that while creating a personalized menu based on what she researched. I want to give so many more stars. I stole a menu, Kristen. Sorry! Haha I sent it to our VP. The dinner was incredible. The people we brought were beyond impressed. The head of the group was very happy and said, “this place was great! Terrific food. Very outside the box compared to chain places and surprisingly easy access so close to downtown. 2 thumbs way up.” Ok that’s not exact quotes but it is close Kristen is not only a rockstar, she is super super cool! She will make any nerves you have melt away. Thanks Kristen. I can’t wait to come back again and again and again, big group or small. Also, Travis was our server and did way more than serve. Thanks for the help with the curtains too. Great personality and very chill. I maxed out what my company said I could tip, and then left a little money of my own bc I was so happy with the night. This is long. I’m done. NIGHTCAP!!!!

Nightcap 🌙 Had a great experience here for Happy Hour! Went on Friday around 6pm and was able to be seated at the bar with a friend. I had the Before the Pickle gets Tickled Cocktail which was refreshing - not too sweet so this was great. For food we shared the carnitas grilled cheese which was loaded and had this delicious spicy ketchup/hot sauce combo. The crispy polenta was also very very good - I recommend this as it was light and very flavorful. The vibe of Nightcap was great staying true to its Austin roots with a bungalow style home transformed into a restaurant. Bravo ! Loved it!

This is a great happy hour spot after a good or even rough day at work. Started my evening off with a FORGIVE ME FATHER, FOR I HAVE GIN-NED Cocktail which included wild bark gin, luxardo maraschino, green chartreuse, ginger liqueur, lime. To follow I enjoyed the crispy Brussel sprouts, ARANCINI PUTTANESCA, and Carnitas grilled cheese - which was to die for! May seem pricey at first but flavors make up for it! You’ll enjoy options for both indoor and outdoor seating and wait staff is well versed in menu items and delights in helping. An overall grand time!

Really delicious food and equally great drinks. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is very relaxing and casual. The decor is very pretty and the restaurant location isn’t in a super busy area. Service was great. Definitely more expensive for their main course items but they also have a decent happy hour.

Nightcap is my new favorite spot in downtown Austin. The vibe and food go hand in hand. It truly is a restaurant in its own category. Try the nightcap burger, you will thank me later. The drinks are amazing and the guest DJs play the soundtrack to your life while you’re there! Highly recommend this place!

AMAZING staff. And I say that working in the industry. Plan to at least eat an appetizer (dinner is where it's at though). Great craft cocktails, local selection of beers, small selection of wines but notable and not Silver Oak (if you're a fan, please come and just branch out a lil-trust these people!)

Without doubt this has been my favorite Austin Foodie find and I recommend it to anyone looking to get spoiled! Delicious, modern american inspired food is served in a homely atmosphere with exceptional service and delicious drinks. The chef is outstanding, keeping his menu's short and seasonal. The wine list was great and I ended up going twice in one weekend, Friday night dinner was a more extravagant affair. Scallops were to die for and the Coffee and Cigarettes cocktail the perfect way to finish the meal. Sunday was a more relaxed affair; burgers served with plenty of toppings (including fois gras) and deliciously paired with a Beaujolais. Go here and get ready to be spoiled!
