I had a beautiful experience at blue star kitchen. The waiter was very professional and friendly. He helped me out pick a beer by offering samples. The food was also great tasting. Restaurant was very clean. I highly recommend this place.

Very good! I got the spinach Waldorf salad and really liked it. We ordered the crispy artichoke hearts and I would get that again. Decent parking, not too busy on a Monday evening around 7.

Excellent food. Beautiful plate presentation. Friendly staff very attentive but not overly. Just an overall great place with a wonderful atmosphere.

I have yet to go to the actual restaurant...from the pics it looks really cool.
So far I've only ordered through uber eats.
I tried the tuna salad sandwich which was perfectly delicious, and the veggie bowl with grits topped with succulent gulf shrimp was a wise choice too.
One my absolute favorite veggies is their crispy brussels...
I definitely need to pay the restaurant a visit to get the full effect.

A friend and I visited for brunch when they first opened Saturday morning. The mimosa was good, but my friends poinsettia drink was fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed my Eggs Benedict, though I wish I had either a slice of toast or a larger English muffin to soak up more of the egg yolk and hollandaise sauce. Very delicious! I highly recommend if your looking for a cute but quieter brunch place on the weekend.

Our first visit here and most definitely not our last. There are many things on the menu we want to try as well as drinks. The patio was cute and the new manager was rock awesome!
Smoked Trout Dip - the BEST dip I have ever had, I never had smoked Trout before and I found this dish to be excellent, the texture was smooth, the ingredients fresh and of great quality - definitely recommended
Drinks we tried:
Rosedale Rita - probably one of the best margaritas I have had
Marked Man, a Maker's Mark Manhattan - a very strong drink, one is all it takes - very good
Great customer service and amazing food will bring us back !!!!

Been here twice now and both times were delicious. LOTS OF AMAZING PIES (sorry for all caps but I literally want everyone to know lol; thinking about their buttermilk pie now is making me drool)!!! They have yummy brunch options on the weekend and all sorts of happy hour specials during the week. I would describe their food as slightly more upscale version of all your favorite comfort/southern cafeteria style food. Brussel sprouts, pie, mac n' cheese, grits, grilled cheese, meat loaf, smoked salmon benedict are all super good choices!

Really good food and great service! I'm always appreciative of a place that serves a veggie platter and does not spice the hell out of it. Dinner of us like how veggies taste, we don't need to drown it in spiciness. Hubby has the short rib, which was HUGE! He was happy, it fell off the bone and was super tender. We'll be back!!

Came here for breakfast/brunch and it was really good. Not like a cafeteria as the name would lead you to. It was not Luby's like, it was very good, and crowded on the weekend. I got the chicken and waffles and the waffles was good and the chicken is interestingly battered in a good way. I enjoyed everything that I got, Service was a little slow, took a while for the server to come by and check on us or refill drinks. I had to stop a few other servers to get butter and drinks since I never saw us, but the food and value was good. There is plenty of parking in the back as well, spots are tight though.

If you like your diner food cooked with premium ingredients and served in a nice modern take of a cafe, then come try this place out. It's contemporary interior design is both aesthetically pleasing as well as familiarly reminiscent of a typical diner. The place is decently priced for the quality and portion size of your dinner entrees. Both the pork chop and fried quail are good and worth trying if you can't decide on your first visit.
If meatloaf isn't the type of food you can get excited for, then this may not be your place. This is the place where the grown up you can connect with the nostalgic food you grew up with in a new contemporary setting.
