Legit. Best. Deep dish pizza. Been around Austin, in search for the best and this is it! Lunch special gets you an individual size with a side for $9. Perfect size and amazing taste! There's nothing else to say. This is it. You have a need for deep dish? Go here.

First time visiting. The waiter Chris was welcoming and helpful. His flexibility and customer attentiveness absolutely made the experience pleasant. We were in the mood for pizza and appetizers -- while apps were satisfying the pizza was just meh.

I always rate restaurants on 3 basic tenets. Food, Service, and cleanliness. It is a simple formula, if you get all 3 right, you will absolutely be successful. If you miss 1 of the 3, you have to be exceptional at the other 2 to be successful. That being said. We went at 3:30pm so it was not busy at all. For Mangia's as we entered they had 2 strikes against them before we sat down. All tables were dirty as was the floor. The employee in charge of seating people was sitting at the bar eating. The sign said "Please seat yourself" but we had to wait for the guy to come clean the tables, which he yelled to us from across the restaurant. Then was not very friendly taking out drink and food orders. The Food however was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! This is authentic Chicago style pizza!!! They did so well on the hard thing (FOOD) and so poorly on the easy things (service and cleanliness) I don't get it! But honestly, I will probably eat here again!

As I've always ordered from this place my first time eating in this place. I got a carnivore Chicago stuff deep dish pizza. Including mozzarella sticks and garlic bread but didn't think to take a photo because the is amazing especially from the first bite to the last. Including it's always consistent and the staff is wonderful, when I think of getting pizza that's not franchise this is my first thought.

This place is amazing! Honestly, it feels like somebody was trying make their way to Chicago and got derailed in Texas. You definitely get that Chicago vibe with a touch of Austin quirkiness. Mangia's definitely offers that unique American Italian shabaz, that you can only get in the Northeast! Don't believe me, than you can taste it in the sauce. So for all of yous guys that are feeling a little homesick, swing on by Mangia's, grab a slice of pie and a pint, and reminisce about the good ol' days. P.S. Mangia's, serves a complementary homemade chocolate chip cookie, but you didn't hear that from me! 😉

Very good Chicago style pizza with a flakey crust, sweet and tasty sauce, and very reasonable sizes for their pizzas. The service was also very quick for take-out, especially considering that a lot of Chicago style pizzas can take an hour to cook, and this pizza was cooked perfectly! I’ll definitely be recommending this place to any pizza lover. The inside atmosphere was not the best, I don’t think I would want to sit down and eat here, but for take-out, this place is a solid choice!

Best deep dish pizza in the Austin area... as a former Chicagoan who grew up 1 block south of Little Italy in the Village.. this is close as I can get to Giadanos or Gino's East in Central Texas... We always get the spinach/mushroom or pineapple deep dish...(stay away from the wheat crust version). Pizza is rich and flavor, and definitely good portions for the $$$$

A friend of ours introduced us to Mangia Pizza 2 years and it was immediately locked down as our favorite pizza place. The range of toppings is fantastic, the crust is to die for and their technique can't be beat. We've never had poor service. Their servers are exceptional. Friendly, charismatic and steady paced.

First time trying this local favorite. We ordered delivery. Even my boys, ages 6 & 11 were impressed! Got a deep dish pepperoni and Carnivore. A bit more than we would spend on chain pizza but the quality is way better.

Chicago style stuffed pizza at a great price! I had the individual sized "Mangia Mia" - it was absolutely delicious! I really loved the crisp crust too!
