Fricano's Deli - Austin - Photo album

Honestly one of the best sandwich shops in Austin! Start with any of Fricano’s Favorites. The Ainsworth is ALWAYS a tasty surprise if your not in a mood to pick. I have not had a bad sandwich here.
One of the best Rubens (spicy version) I’ve ever had. Fantastic bread, and loved the red onion and Pepperoncini for a little extra pizazz. The home made dressing was kick ass as well. Overall great would try again any day for a nice lunch in this neck of the woods.
Went here for a reuben and was not disappointed. Venue is very lived in, and caters to the student population nicely, but I can't fault their corned beef classic reuben.
Fantastic. I had the Tuna Melt and Tomato Basil soup. Excellent. Service was great. Friendly cashier and when he asked my choice of cheese and bread, I got recommendations from one of the kitchen guys and went with them. Much appreciated. Food was delivered to my table fresh, warm toasted brea
Great deli with a fun crowd. Best Cajun turkey I've ever had. Plus, the half sandwich and soup combo is a solid deal. I've been coming once a week as of late. The rye gets a bit too tough after cooling, but the sandwich is otherwise perfect when toasted. I could recommend just about anything.
Very good deli sandwiches. Unique choices. Beware, a “half” is pretty large.
Great deli sandwiches. They are a pretty good size. The all meat sandwich is huge. Can hardly fit in my mouth to take a bite. Bread is extra crispy if you get it grilled. Can scrape the roof of your mouth if you are not careful, but that's the fun of it. Enjoy the sandwich.
My friend piked this place for lunch while I had training downtown. It is a quick drive from downtown and there is a parking lot out front that you should be able to find some parking spots. The line moves pretty quickly as well. There is a good selection of things to choose form and you can make it
The sandwiches from this place are AMAZING!! Along with being a LARGE serving size, the sandwiches are so tasty and they take their time making it, so it is a fresh sandwich, if you want your sandwich fast, call ahead to have it picked up. Their breads are fresh as well and the nostalgic atmospher
My second favorite sandwich shop in Austin. I've found the staff friendly, the ingredients high quality, and the sandwiches delicious. I think they replaced a Quiznos in the West Campus location they are in now, and it's quite an improvement. I think of Fricano's as the opposite of a chain restaur
This is one great place to get a sandwich in West Campus. I almost always get the Madison, and ad Cajun Turkey. The pesto spread is fresh and delicious. Everything is really quite good though. The one draw back is it kind of slow, and can take 10-15 minutes to get a sandwich. To avoid this problem c
The sandwiches are massive both in size and flavor. My brother visits me in Austin once in a while, and we make sure to always stop by Fricano's. He loves the place and so do I. I definitely recommend the place!
This is a first rate sandwich shop. Their Italian sandwich, which I ordered hot, was fantastic on toasted sourdough. Plenty of meat sitting on top of melted cheese and veggies between large slices of bread. Just the way I'd draw it up, tasty and perfectly filling. And this was only a half sandwi
Listen to me. If you are anywhere near West Campus or Guadalupe and hungry, go immediately to Fricano's. Everyone there is super chill. It's a nice college vibe. And the food is delicious and worth your money. I see everyone go there from students to professors and families. Fricano's is my favorite
Lives up to the hype. Excellent sandwiches. Very large, so you could conceivably share one with someone. Amazing black and white cookie. I want one of those right now. Good campus spot for students and townies alike. Feels like it's the type of place that has been there for forever, although it h
WOW! The Turkey Special sandwich was phenomenal. They slice the Boar's Head turkey to order, load up with sprouts, guac, muenster (instead of provolone), and recommended pesto on some amazing sourdough bread. The key was getting it "grilled". What you get is an outrageous sandwich that really mak
This little cozy shop is hidden in West Campus but don't let it slip your mind when you are looking for a deli! They are so much more than a sandwich! Once you visit Fricano's, you won't want to visit another sandwich shop. Their sandwiches, salads, and soups are delicious and they serve generous po
This place is delicious. I can choose from the menu or create my own sandwich. The serving size is quite reasonable for how much you pay. I'm always satisfied when I eat my sandwich for lunch. The only criticism I have is that the bread is always a bit too hard but that shouldn't deter you away from
Fricano's Deli is a gift straight from NY to Austin! I keep going back because sandwiches are affordable and delicious and quite filling! My favorite is the Monday special which is their curry chicken salad sandwich. I haven't had a chocolate chip cookie or one of their black and white cookies bu
