Lunch specials until 2pm then happy hour from 4pm til close. The food is excellent - really tasty chicken gyoza and everything we’ve had on the lunch menu has been great. Good portion sizes and variety. Excellent service. If you’re already near downtown it’s very conveniently located.

I got nigiri set for lunch while I was staying at Hyatt Place across the street and food was great quality! Order on the phone went smoothly and staff was friendly.
While I didn't dine in, when I went to pick up my order, the ambience inside was clean, peaceful, and lively with other weekday lunch time diners.
Next time I'm in town, this will be my go to sushi spot👍

Fresh sushi and great appetizers. Beer and sake are a must at sushi, and this place delivers. The specialty rolls were nice and filling and did not skimp on the fish.

This is an interesting Japanese fusion restaurant serving a bit of Chinese dim sum, lots of creative rolls, sushi/sashimi and variety of Japanese entrees.
Was there in Friday night. Restaurant got busy later in the evening. The servers were very friendly and food service very fast.
The chicken gyoza appetizer was excellent. The spicy salmon roll could be made a bit more spicy (just personal preference). If you have had fresh sushi-grade salmon before, you might find the salmon here a bit underwhelming. Overall not a bad place to have sushi .

Amazing place, the service was top notch!!! The food was even better. I got the Chicken Fried Dumplings, they were soo juicy and filled with flavor and also I got the California Roll(I know, basic, lol, but it was still delicious), very clean space. The drinks were amazing, I highly recommend the Plum Wine Spritzer, was delicious!!! Although parking is a little bit tight, but not impossible, it’s downtown atx we’re talking about here, so no surprises there! Definitely check them out! Great service, all the staff were super welcoming and friendly! ✨

I came here for the first time in April while craving sushi after work. The happy hour is such a great deal with $7-$15 rolls, and $8 lychee martinis. I had such a great experience that now I'm back at least once a week. Tara and Aaron are fantastic and have always taken great care of me! Highly recommend the or orange dragon, spicy ocean crunch, sake Mac and cheese, and chorishi's fire roll!

We always get the Trio Dim Sum as an appetizer never disappointed. We tried the Scorpion roll and the Hawaii 5-0 both very good and very different from each other.

Such a yummy experience. I sat at the bar and both the bartender, wait and hostess staff were extremely professional. I appreciated the decadence of the restaurant because it matched the style, price, & quality of the dishes. Can’t wait to return on someone else’s dime haha!

Food was absolutely amazing, even the next day, I ordered takeout and it was ready so fast it blew my mind. The two people that were helping me were so very kind and I loved the welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be going here to celebrate with people or do after work dinner in the future

Haha. These guys were great. I had a really early dinner with my family during a convention. We were staying across the street at the Hampton Inn. It was late dinnertime and I kept thinking about Maiko. I finally decided to come over to get sushi for me and one of my kids. I sat at the bar and talked with the bartender, Oscar (autocorrect got me on his name twice). Right before my food was brought out, the manager was talking with him, turned and looked at me, and said 'this is the most composed person in here'. Cracked me, Oscar, and another employee up. I was entertained while waiting for my food, finally ordering a shot of rum before it was ready. The sushi was good, we were well pleased with it.

Nice spot to grab a bite downtown. We were looking for somewhere to pop in for a early dinner and they were running happy hour all day Saturday. The sushi was definitely the highlight (to be expected), but the price was also affordable! The restaurant is deceptively large, outside doesn’t do it justice. We will be back again soon.

We went here for my cousins birthday party and had a fantastic time. Our server was SUPER sweet and friendly and enthusiastic!( I didn't catch her name, but she had a black bob) They brought out the cake for us and were so amazing.

This week, I went with a friend for lunch at Maiko Sushi Lounge.
She is very savvy at finding good places, especially with good sushi lunch specials, since sushi is her favorite food.
She reminded me of Maiko, a restaurant I visited almost seven years ago, when I still lived in downtown Austin.
We arrived at noon on a Tuesday, and it was totally packed! I couldn't believe how busy it was - obviously the word is out that the food is EXCELLENT, especially for the price.
I had the chicken katsu lunch special bento box for $14 and it came with sushi, salad, miso soup, fried rice, an egg roll and a fried dumpling. WOW!
I would totally give Maiko five stars except for our waitress kind of forgot about us since it was so busy, and it took us about 25 minutes to actually place our order.
The owner/manager came to apologize and they were very nice about it.
I definitely recommend Maiko. Every place gets busy, I just had to mention it.

Great place to eat sushi! I wanted to treat myself and Maiko Sushi Lounge was nearby. Oh my, what a treat! Try the Rainbow Roll (I don't quite remember the name of the other roll I ordered Chochiri's fire?? It was good, too) and the nigiri, they don't disappoint! Service was top-notch, I didn't get my server's name, but she had short, red hair and was amazing!

I never leave negative feedback or reviews but I will here. I had dinner with my girlfriend last night and ordered several things off the menu. We ordered 3 different types of sashimi and the waitress mentioned they were thick slices. I asked her if they could cut them into thinner slices and she said they would. Sashimi from what I see in their menu cost $3-4$ per 5 slices and order. They charged me 16$ per order so I pad 48$ for thinner slices. We were still hungry so we ordered another roll.
Texas Monster. What an epic fail. I had two pieces and my girlfriend had one before we decided to stop eating Because it was so bad. We mentioned how terrible the roll was to our waitress and said she would talk to the manager about it. Came back saying her Manger said since we ate most of it they weren’t going to take it off our tab when clearly there was 5 more pieces on the plate. She had one piece, I had two. The “tequila lime sauce” was nothing but mayonnaise �Needless to say I paid for the up charge and the roll. In terms of food quality it was ok, in terms of business sense maybe try a different approach or take Managment classes. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This was the worst experience I have had in a long time... the waitress was slow, forgot to put in several items we ordered and never checked on us. I had to send my food back because when it finally got here it was cold. When I made my frustrations known to her she could care less. Just all around a bad experience. Will no come here again

This was my favorite sushi place until last weekend. Five of our ten person party showed up on time for the reservation, but they wouldn't seat us until we had 7 show up. We were hoping to be seated, so we could buy drinks and appetizers until the others showed up (who we showed the hostess had texted us saying they were in a cab on their way), but she wouldn't seat us. One of our guests owns several clubs in Austin and is the owner of a prestige real estate firm who had brought a real estate broker and a high-end client with him. It's a shame that this was their first experience with Maiko. However, Gloria's Latin Cuisine across the street accommodated us and we had the best time! They even had salsa dancing. Our group of ten thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were treated so great!
