Maudie's Hacienda - Austin - Photo album

Consistent Tex Mex, especially good are the beef crispy tacos. The queso and cheese enchiladas are also really good. Nostalgic flavor. The patio is good for doggies, too
This place is a regular stop for me, at least once a month. Maudie’s is classic Tex-Mex faire that never disappoints. I like to get the Josie’s enchilada plate if I am here for dinner or lunch and the sausage migas when I am here for breakfast. One this visit we tried the queso blanco which, I belie
My aunt is a regular here and we decided to join her for her weekly brunch. The staff are amazing and the food was perfectly Tex-Mex. I didn't mean to be so needy but my waitress ran to grab every little thing we asked for without hesitation or even the slightest attitude, she was on her A game and
They’ve got great options for lunch during the week but this was my first visit and I loved the Shrimp Tacos! Parking lot tends to overcrowd but you’ll find a spot. It’s a local favorite that doesn’t disappoint!
Very good menu selection and outstanding food. I've not had a bad meal there. From the fajita salad to tamales El jefe, it is always very good. The place can get loud at peak hours.
Drinks are always solid, food is Tex Mex, parking it's usually good but it's sometimes packed out due lots of places to eat in this strip. Great hpy hr, Prices are decent, All day happy hour on Mondays & place is packed.
Like a well-oiled machine! Sat down and almost immediately had chips and salsa (a bit too hot for us, but good anyway) in front of us. We noticed the tables around us were bussed within moments of being vacated. Our server was attentive and very nice. The food was quite good. We were going to see a
We were held up in traffic and arrived late, but got great food and great service. The hostess was warm and welcoming; she found us a table immediately. Tony kept something going on until our food had arrived. Between Tony and one of the bar-tenders, I was served a very nice "margarita azul" ( i.
If you haven't had Maudies, Sweet Potato Hash for breakfast, its' a must. It's absolutely delicious! Whiched I had taken a photo of my plate. For those vegetarians, you can just skip the bacon. Still delicious Rebecca
This place has a great patio, interesting wall art, and an intimate vibe because of the faux hacienda roof. The mood is very good. This Maudies restaurant offers comfort food from South Austin and has a lot to offer.
Friendly and helpful staff that adds to the positive vibe. Prices are reasonable, and the value for money is excellent. A gem in the dining scene!
I can say this is pretty good food, for probably being the only Hispanic person in there besides the staff😁. But seriously the enchilada sauce is sort of how my grandmother made it and she owned a restaurant on S. Congress. The rice had flavor to it, beans were good, black beans are ok, the Al Pasto
Love this classic Tex-Mex place, their menu is big and have lots of lunch specials. happy hour Monday through Friday is pretty great too. our server Chris was extremely helpful and made the whole experience really great. Plus, the Mexican martinis are strong and delicious.
I’ve been coming to this location (& South Lamar) for a hot minute. Both have excellent service, friendly staff, great food and drinks.. I just wanted to put a personal shout out to Saul. He’s been a server at the hacienda location for a while. Sometimes we are treated when I’m there with my girlfr
This place is excellent. Excellent location for a laid-back date, with a terrific bar and overall good service. This is the ideal Mexican restaurant in Texas.
We had combo fajitas and they were delicious. I added a pork tamale ( loved flavor and texture). Mexican Martini was best I have had. Great service.
