The chicken fried steak was just okay for me, but that's not my go to entree. The company was better than the grub. Mary was very polite and gave us some cookies and a sample of her apple cobbler on the house. Would visit again.
Real everything! Frfr! Chicken friend chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. About to try homemade apple pie with ice cream. This is a must while in hill country.. update. Apple cinnamon pie heated and serve with ice cream. Was enough to satisfy soul. Great staff

Nice old mom and pop type cafe. Order when you first walk in. Portion sizes are HUGE! had fried fish with fries and husband had chili cheese burger. Everything is homemade and delicious.

Parking is limited. Quiet atmosphere. Staff is friendly and very helpful. I'm in from Minnesota for a couple of days of business. I stopped by today for what I thought would be a quick burger, nothing special.
